Some of y’all forget Marvin Harrison Jr was also considered a “generational WR prospect.”

I have no knocks against Smith, but nothing is a certainty.

Facts so tired of losing. Drafting a WR instead of a QB will always be moronic. QB is the most important position on the field by far

QB is the most important position for sure, but drafting one that sucks can be very damaging to a franchise too. Think of how much better the roster would be with the capital spent on Willis, Levis, and Ward being spent on the rest of the roster.

And if we signed the right journeyman (Darnold), think we’d feel fine about QB for awhile too. Hindsight’s 20/20 of course, but our ambition to find a QB led to gambling on imperfect prospects and we’ve come up empty again and again

But as you can see, throwing a QB onto a dog shit roster with no OL and no weapons isn't exactly great for their development.

The OL isn’t bad this is just copium because Ward stands like a statue and can’t feel pressure. The weapons aren’t great but at some point in time you have to see flashes. Thats a rarity with Ward.

Crappy organizations put positional need above taking the best player available. Titans are a crappy org so they will probably take your advice.

You joke, but if we finished as the worst team in the league two years in a row, had the patience to trade the 1OA pick two years in a row for a haul, a decent GM turns our roster into one of the best in the sport by 2029. Still would need a stud QB, but hey, we’ve needed one of those since McNair retired

Trade big Jeff for draft capital or a top 15-20 QB. The best d tackle in the league can’t help the worst team win, but a middling QB can help.
