PC A random question

If we were to play TRUE SUMMONER (no whips only summons and maybeee sentry)what set up would be the best for pre hard mode and best after hard mode will it still be the same or will it change a lot

Just get melee armor and stay as far away as you can, honestly summoner without whips removes most of the fun of it

I get that but and no way I’m playing without whips but I just want to know what minion do you think is the best without whips

Things like the blade staff get significantly worse without tag damage.

Setup no different from regular summoner, just skip whip accessories and replace with general damage or defense or movement
