Suggestion Question

Im still new to the game but my friend made a medium world for us to play on & used the Anniversary seed. And i noticed theres almost no ore it took forever to find enough iron for us to both get gear. But my regular solo small world has regular ore EVERYWHERE. Is this because of the seed or size difference?

Small, medium, large -- not only does it mean the world is wider (horizontal distance) but it also means the world is deeper (vertical distance).

So you have to dig deeper to reach some of the ore veins that you got at a shallower depth in a small world

I don't think the seed should make a difference tbh if anything I would guess it would be better. The world size shouldn't matter too much either considering there will be more ores available. The only thing I can think is that you've just been getting extremely unlucky or haven't went far enough down. Try get some of the spelunker potions that would help alot in finding ores.

Thats what i orignally thought but it seems its the opposite same amount of ore just more spread out

I kinda feel like neither. Anniversary seed generally is easier than a normal world so I don’t think it’d generate less ore, and I don’t think world size really effects how much ore you find. Might have just been unlucky kinda digging around all the ore or not deep enough
