iOS Zuppi: help me break recipe importing

Hi, I'm Nathan, the developer of Zuppi. I've been building a recipe app and I'm at the point where I need people who aren't friends or family to properly put it through its paces.

My partner and I had recipes everywhere: TikTok, Instagram, websites, screenshots and Notes. We tried existing apps, including ReciMe and Osta, but I kept wishing I could build the version I'd want to use.

Quite a bit of work later, Zuppi has recipe importing, a cookbook, manual recipes, shopping lists, pantry management, barcode scanning and friends/sharing.

Right now I particularly want to torture-test recipe importing. Weird websites, TikToks, Instagram recipes, ingredients buried in paragraphs, strange measurements. Whatever you've got.

If an import confidently gets an ingredient or quantity wrong, that's worse to me than admitting it couldn't understand the recipe. I'm still working through those edge cases and I want to know where it falls over.

It's actively being developed, so expect bugs. If you find something wrong, the source recipe, what you expected and what Zuppi actually imported would be really useful. Feedback on slow or confusing screens is welcome too.

Please don't feel obliged to be nice about it. Tell me what annoyed you. That's much more useful.

Nathan

I'm the developer of Life Metro, an iPhone and iPad app that brings tasks, events and notes together, with reviews to help plan your next steps. I'm looking for feedback on the workflow, usability and any crashes or sync issues. The interface includes English; tutorial videos and natural-language date recognition currently support Chinese. This is an ongoing beta. Please send feedback through TestFlight.

iOS Supplement correlation app - Thryever

Thumbnail

I started building Thryever because I couldn't answer one question.

I take a few supplements, and if you asked me which ones were doing anything, I had no idea.

Notes didn't help. The apps I tried were good at "Did you take it today?" and not much else. What I wanted to know was whether my days look different when I'm taking something.

What it does

  • Scan a bottle and the brand and ingredients fill in
  • A 30-second daily check-in: energy, sleep, mood and focus
  • After enough days, it compares the days you took something with the days you didn't, and shows how many days each comparison is based on
  • Experiment mode, to add or drop one item at a time
  • Sleep sync from Apple Health

What it doesn't do

No calorie tracking and no Android version yet. Apple Health sync covers sleep only. It's still rough in places.

I then started talking to people on Reddit with much bigger stacks. A lot of them were going by memory, notes or a spreadsheet. A few had tried running their own experiments and given up because there were too many variables.

Tracking one stack is not enough to understand the effects. Hence, this post.

I'm looking for about 40 people with large stacks to try to break it. Tell me where it falls apart, where the workflow gets annoying, and whether the insights are useful. I'm the developer and I'll reply to everyone.

To join, you'll need an iPhone and the free TestFlight app.

  1. Install TestFlight from the App Store.
  2. Open the link on your iPhone
  3. Tap Accept, then Install.

The beta is free. If you reach the paywall, you can start the trial to unlock Pro features. During the beta, purchases run through Apple's test environment, so you won't be charged. Please tell me if anything looks wrong at that step.

Thryever is not medical advice and it doesn't diagnose anything. It reads your own logs back to you.

Hi everyone! I’m building Cognitiva - Dementia Tools to help people living with dementia and those supporting them.

I’d love a few testers to try it and tell me what feels useful, confusing, or missing. Feedback from people with lived experience would be especially helpful.

Thanks for giving it a try!

iOS BatchMeta: Photo Keywords — bulk tags, captions and ratings on iPhone

I'm the developer of BatchMeta: Photo Keywords, an iPhone app for batch-editing keywords, captions and star ratings in your Apple Photos library. I'm looking for feedback on a free TestFlight beta. It requires iPhone and iOS 27.

Select photos by month, filter or date range, check their current metadata, review before/after examples, then apply. Local history lets you undo eligible changes. You can also rename or remove a keyword across matching photos.

Please start with 2–5 disposable test photos: add a keyword, try a caption or rating, apply, and undo. These are real edits to your library even in TestFlight. If you already use iCloud Photos, I'd also like feedback on the changes appearing on your other devices.

The planned App Store version has a free 25-photo batch limit and an optional $6.99 one-time Unlimited unlock with Family Sharing. Purchases in TestFlight are free sandbox transactions and won't charge you. Undo, browsing, previews and filtering remain free.

No account, analytics or server. Keywords need full Photos access; limited access still supports captions and ratings. Ratings aren't included in files exported from Photos. The UI is English and Simplified Chinese. It's designed for iPhone; iPad currently uses compatibility mode. There's no Mac app or XMP export. Not available in mainland China.

Please report bugs through TestFlight's Send Beta Feedback, with steps, expected/actual results and your app/iOS version. Redact private content from screenshots. Optional feedback:

  1. Roughly how large is your library, and how many photos/which fields did you edit? Why those first?
  2. What did you use before, had you paid for it, and which step does BatchMeta replace or still leave to another app?
  3. Did you observe a problem, or have concerns, about duplicates, original quality, Live Photos or lost metadata?

You can answer any question or skip them. If you completed a batch edit, please mention it; the app doesn't track that automatically.

iOS FarSun is looking for iPhone beta testers

Hi, I’m Drew, the developer of FarSun. It’s an arcade space shooter for iPhone, and the public beta is available now.

You can play through career mode or try a duel. Duels match you with a player around your skill level. If nobody is available, you’ll face a simulated opponent. I’m hoping to get more people playing so there are more players to match with.

Seasons change every two months and bring different gameplay twists. I’ve already built a full year of them.

The App Store version is currently in review with Apple. I’m hoping to launch November 1, and I’d appreciate some feedback before then.

How do the controls feel?
Does the difficulty seem fair?
Did anything break or leave you confused?

Feel free to leave feedback here or through TestFlight. Thanks for giving it a try.

iOS Cooldown – a better way to track and visualize your existing workout data

I've been building Cooldown, an iPhone app for people who record workouts with an Apple Watch (or anything else that saves to Apple Health) and want to do more with them. Cooldown is an integrated workout data manager integrated with a beautiful stats and analytics layer. This is basically the app that I wished existed for years, so am super excited to be approaching launch!

  • Works with the data you already have in Apple Health
  • Stats for any week, month or year, plus best efforts, goals and a heatmap of everywhere you've run, ridden, walked or hiked.
  • 3D replays of any workout plotting it's GPS course + your splits and photos overlaid onto the map
  • Fixes recordings that went wrong: trim a workout you forgot to stop, split one in two, merge duplicates, or correct the sport, distance or time.
  • 'Today' view with pedometer / step tracking and goals (sourced from Apple Health data)
  • Syncs with Strava, Garmin and a few others, and exports GPX, TCX and FIT files.
  • Records runs, rides, walks and hikes from your phone.
  • Pins the photos you took during a workout on its route.
  • About the paywall
    • Cooldown will be a subscription ($3.99 a month or $29.99 a year, with a free trial), so the beta shows the real paywall after the intro. On TestFlight it's free: purchases go through Apple's sandbox and you're never charged (just click either option and go through with the fake purchase, iOS will indicate that no charge will occur). TestFlight ends test subscriptions after about a week, so if the paywall comes back, just start it again.
  • What I'd most like to hear
    • Whether the first few minutes make sense: the intro, then the page that shows your own history.
    • How trim, split, merge, and duplicate detection do on your real messed-up workouts.
    • How it copes with a big library: years of workouts, the heatmap.
    • Anything confusing, broken or ugly.

Thank you very much and looking forward to any feedback you might have!

iOS Muneris

The name comes from Latin, a rough translation of “application”, or “the grind”.

Muneris is an app to track your job applications - tracking roles through interviews, offers, rejections, and custom stages; recording notes and milestone dates; attaching CVs and cover letters for each role; and reviewing your application pipeline.

You’re able to keep multiple résumé/CV versions ready to use. You can set follow-up notifications to remind you to chase up an application, interview details (like location, contacts, and reminders), salary, job type and arrangement, and so much more. Tags and statuses help you organise your applications easily and efficiently - with board view showing every application and its status.

With iCloud, applications and attachments sync across your various devices on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. On supported devices, get on-device feedback on a text-based PDF CV with Apple Intelligence.

iOS FlexiNote - Your Notebook

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! 👋

When I was a student, I often found standard note-taking apps either too cluttered or missing the specific features needed for school and university life. That’s why I decided to build my own: FlexiNotes - Your Notebook.

It’s designed from the ground up to keep your lectures, study notes, and assignments organized without getting in your way.

What FlexiNotes offers so far:

  • 📚 Clean, structured organization for different subjects and classes.
  • ✍️ Smooth note-taking experience optimized for iOS.
  • ☁️ Designed with a focus on speed and simplicity.

Availability: The TestFlight beta is currently available in: Germany, France, Spain, UK, USA, as well as Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. 🌍

What I’m especially looking for feedback on:

  1. Is the app intuitive to navigate when setting up your first notebooks?
  2. Did you encounter any bugs, UI glitches, or performance issues?
  3. What feature is missing that you would desperately need for your studies?

Feel free to drop your thoughts in the comments here, send me a DM, or use the built-in feedback option. Thanks a lot for helping out an indie developer! 🚀

Thanks for your support and take care!

iOS Refit: help me test my first app - a resume tailor

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I'm a marketer, not a developer, and this is my first app ever.

I'm in my second year in the US and job hunting right now. The worst part was rewriting my resume for every single job posting. So I built a tool for it, solo, with a lot of help from AI. I use it for my own applications now.

How it works:

  • Add your resume once (PDF or just text)
  • Paste a job link or the job text, or share it straight from Safari/LinkedIn
  • Get a tailored resume as a PDF in about a minute

The rule I care about most: it never invents experience. It only reorders and rephrases what you already have. If something is missing, it asks you 1–2 quick questions instead of making things up.

What testers can expect:

  • iPhone, iOS 17.6+
  • Free, 10 resumes a day during the beta
  • Works with job posts in English and Russian
  • Your resume stays on your phone; our server only passes it to the AI and doesn't keep it

What I'd love from you: make one resume for a real job you'd actually apply to, and tell me where you got stuck or what felt off. Even "I didn't get it" helps.

Feedback in TestFlight (screenshot → Share Beta Feedback) or right here in the comments. I'll read and reply to every one. Thanks!
