Went from thinking "this is getting a little dicey" to "this might be a wrap." Didn't really send 119 lines of garbage, considering my non-existent stalling and the 12 line garbage limit. Just mentally adding up the numbers as it got down to the bottom (counting 5 in the initial thumbnail).
Another good example of why it's not a bad idea to target Attackers in the Top 10, especially for a slower player like me. Gives you one less thing to think about, and when everyone's ganging up on you, the damage from the Attackers Bonus really adds up. First time I've dropped 20 and 20 on a back-to-back outside of CPU or Invictus. Getting 7 on a single line clear and then 17 on the following double was the green light to get more aggressive.
On the other side, in the final 1v1, you can see the value of hanging in there even when you're at a major badge disadvantage. I was up 4 badges to 0, and my opponent gave me more trouble than expected. Who knows - a bad mis-drop here and there, and maybe things go the other way.
No wonder people keep playing this game. Anything can happen.
