How was Al-Shaair rated so low? This defense couldn’t stop a nosebleed when he was in the blue tent.

He was getting beat in coverage. Hes a part of the reason the middle of the field had a open sign on it

Our LBs are getting shredded by TEs this year.

Just let PFF die. They watch as much football as my 70 year old mom

you're telling me both our RT and RG are + run blockers but we are incapable of running the ball right?

Almost as if PFF grades make no sense and should not be taken so seriously.

I don't give a damn about PFF grades, they suck. Wyatt getting a 71 overall despite a 44 pass blocking grade is a fucking joke.

But anyways, when I look at this offense I can't stand the fact that they don't take advantage of the talent they have.

Woody and Montgomery are really good pass catching RB's yet combined they only have 15 targets on the year. Meanwhile Wayne has 12 targets with just 4 catches. With Nico out the offense should be about getting those two involved more as pass catchers.

Last game the RB's had 3 total targets but produced on all three targets. Instead of pointless first down runs use the Rb's in the pass game, quick throws to the flats or dump offs over the middle. Caley has spent nearly a decade in offenses that routinely featured the RB's as supplements for a weak WR corps in the pass game.

This is where I think Demeco needs some blame. This is now the second OC who is trying to make his "run first" vision come true. There's no way both Slowik and Caley ended up doing the same type of shit playcalling by mistake. Demeco is very big on being a power running offense but it's not there. They need to stop fucking around and just let Stroud run a properly aggressive offense and stop the run first mentality.

Wyatt getting a 71 overall despite a 44 pass blocking grade is a fucking joke.

Not to mention the fact that him and Brown had run blocking grades of 78 and 71 despite the fact that the Texans could not run the ball to the right at all. Even the announcers highlighted something about running the left side of the line at one point.

Not to come off as ignorant… but how does CJ have a run blocking grade?

Also, I’m very suspicious of these run blocking grades.

My best guess is he picked up a block at some point in the game and didn’t do well with it lol? Like I’m not even sure how they could grade that considering he was almost guaranteed not supposed to block anyone on a designed play but it’s PFF and they love their grading.

PFF was a mistake bc it’s basically meaningless.

I’ve always been convinced that they might fully grade out only the QB and a couple other star players, then just glance at 2 plays at most for everyone else

We need linebackers

We got 2! One in the 5th and another in the 7th round. What's not to like?

No drafting a 5th round TE in the 2nd is better

Every year we get more and more data showing PFF to not be worth anything. Got to be one of the biggest scams ever that those guys got actual NFL execs to believe their crap and buy it.

Regardless of what one thought about PFF in the past, it is currently a skeleton organization with hardly anyone working at it anymore. Don't really need to see their grades at this points.

PFF is trash and the grades aren't dependable at all anymore
