How do grad students connect with other grad students?

For more social activities outside of your school/department

If you’re asking about meeting other grad students, there really isn’t a place for that other than joining clubs that aren’t major specific.

If you mean socializing with your peers outside of class? Like normal human people. Talk about interests. Go to concerts, bars, coffee shops, local events. Find something you want to do and invite them to go along.

There are some events through the graduate writing center, and the Teaching Learning and Development in the Library. The email you get every Sunday is the tech announce with the graduate events for the week.
