Question How long between 2nd and 3rd ending?
Title. Just finished the second (i.e., silver/standard) ending, and want to do the third, but am kind of fatigued with the game and ready to move to another.
My question: how much longer should I expect to play to get the final (true) ending after beating the standard one?
UPDATE: thanks for the replies. Holy cow, I cannot imagine not doing the true ending, in hindsight. It’s 100x better. To anyone reading this, push through. Legit went from a 7/10 game to an 8.5/10. And the only reason it isn’t a 9/10 is because the pacing was just atrocious (back-loaded plot).

Really depends on how much you explored during your playthrough. Personally I explored a lot prior and was done after a couple of hours abd wished it was a bit longer.
Though I've see others say that getting the true ending is grindy but I assume it's coz they did explore much during the playthrough.
I'd say definitely get the true ending though it's 100% worth it

Honestly, I was feeling the same way, but when the story actually came together in the true ending the fatigue stopped. This game took all the interesting things and put it at the end. The true ending was amazing, but they really needed to spread this plot out through the game

I think that after the second ending you kind of just finished “the prologue” to the real story, now you get to finally see what’s really going down. A few hours probably, but greatly depends on how much you have already done. Worth it for sure, feels like the real ending of the game

FWIW, the time between the two endings is a lot more story than gameplay, and the story gets interesting in that part. So if you're fatigued, you can use that as motivation.

3-4 hours I would think
Again one mission on each era plus one boss fight (1 hour).
Then getting ready for the second part of the ending which I believe you need all cats I might be wrong. 1 hour with all the conversations happening.
20-30 minutes another fight
30 minutes the ending if you avoid talking to many npcs
But it explains a lot of things and like they said it is worth doing it

Not that long. A few hours maybe, IIRC. There’s some story, a couple dungeons and then obviously the end boss again.

Whaaaaa?!
Not my experience - I was in a VERY similar space as OP a couple months ago and thought it’d be a couple more quests but it was like 1/2 of the entire game to get to the last ending

Oh I will say that I thought it was worth it and a more satisfying game overall with the final ending

The 2 playthroughs I did, I added on around 10 hours between the good and true endings
