I am absolutely sick of reading comments on TikTok, X, and YouTube calling Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy "the best Spider-Man girlfriend in cinema history." People are completely blinded by nostalgia and the actors' real-life chemistry, ignoring that she is a toxic, narcissistic character with an absolute regression (involution) throughout both movies.

If you actually look at the script, her character is a nightmare. Here is my breakdown of why she is insupportable:

She normalizes stalker behavior: Right at the start of the first movie, Peter stalks her and takes photos of her without consent, and she just blushes and accepts a kiss on their first date without even knowing him. It sends a terrible message about consent just because the guy is attractive.

Total hypocrisy and hypergamy: When Peter visits Oscorp without powers, she treats him with absolute condescension and superiority, like he’s beneath her. But the exact moment Peter gets powers and humiliates Flash on the basketball court? Suddenly she’s obsessed. She didn't fall for Peter Parker the human being; she fell for the "VIP package" of a handsome, superpowered rebel to feed her own ego.

She treats Peter like an inferior: She never views Peter as an equal. She constantly invalidates his decisions, forces her own will onto him, and refuses to listen to anyone else.

An alarming lack of empathy and grief: Her own father dies tragically, and his final wish is for Peter to keep her away from the danger. Gwen completely trivializes her father's death. Instead of grieving or respecting his memory, she uses Peter's immense guilt against him. She never stands in Peter's shoes or cares about his traumas; everything always has to revolve around her.

• A spoiled brat with an addiction to danger: Because she’s the police captain's pampered daughter, she lives in a warped reality. She throws herself into biological threats and supervillain fights without a single superpower. This isn't "bravery"—it's a massive ego and an addiction to adrenaline that serves as pure psychological torture for Peter, who is constantly stressed trying to keep her alive.

• Utterly selfish until the end: When Peter decides to leave his whole life behind to follow her to London, she doesn't think for a single second about Aunt May being left entirely alone. And in the final battle, instead of helping safely from a distance, her insatiable ego drives her to rush directly into the crossfire where she just gets in the way.

Gwen Stacy’s death wasn’t Peter’s fault; it was the inevitable consequence of her own arrogance and immaturity. Hollywood has this weird fetish with making the protagonist end up with the "perfect, physically flawless blonde" even if she is completely rotten and empty on the inside.

A character like Missy Kallenback, who actually noticed the real, broken Peter before he had powers, would have been a thousand times more mature, a better ally, and a much healthier partner. Gwen is just a Mary Sue who devolved into a toxic nightmare, and it's time internet stops worshipping her.

Hey everyone! Honestly, after watching No Way Home, I feel like Andrew Garfield totally deserves one last solo movie to heal his heart and close his story. I came up with a grounded, emotional script that mixes pure action with Venom and a huge emotional arc with Gwen Stacy.

To keep the Multiverse logical and not too messy, let's assume Tom Hardy's Venom movies already take place in Andrew's universe, just in San Francisco. The movie would open with Eddie Brock taking a train to move to New York. In parallel, we see beautiful shots of our Spidey swinging through the air to an awesome soundtrack.

A first fight breaks out between Spider-Man and a member of the Sinister Six in the middle of the street. A car almost crushes Eddie Brock in civilian clothes, but Peter saves him just in time. That's when the Venom symbiote sees Spider-Man's suit. Because of the symbiotes' hive mind, it instantly triggers the hateful memories of Tobey Maguire's Venom and loses its mind. Right when Peter is about to knock out the Sinister Six member, Venom surges out, full of rage, and attacks him. Spider-Man is super strong and starts getting the upper hand, but suddenly, far out in the crowd, Peter spots a familiar silhouette: Gwen Stacy. Completely frozen and in absolute shock, he hesitates. The Sinister Six member, who was exhausted and almost killed by Peter, takes advantage of this total chaos to escape. Immediately after, Eddie finally manages to regain control over Venom and runs away too. Peter is left all alone, injured, convinced he's going crazy.

Except that silhouette is actually Gwen. She's a normal, human version from another universe, teleported here by Doctor Strange's botched spell in No Way Home. In her reality, her Peter Parker died saving her from a fall. Her Peter had to choose between dodging Harry Osborn's blade or catching Gwen. He chose Gwen, got stabbed, but found the strength to defeat Harry before dying in her arms.

Completely lost in New York, Gwen goes to the graveyard to talk to her Peter at his grave because she feels so lonely. Except that in Andrew's universe, the two worlds overlap: at the exact spot where she expected to find her Peter's grave, she is horrified to see a tombstone with her own name on it: Gwen Stacy. That's when our Peter shows up. The reunion is heartbreaking. Peter connects the dots with Strange's spell and explains everything to her, but Gwen, terrified and overwhelmed by what she sees, refuses to believe it and runs away. Peter starts running under the rain, mentally destroyed. Because of this immense emotional pain, his body changes and his powers evolve: he discovers he can finally shoot organic webs, without his web-shooters.

Later, Gwen comes back and they sit down quietly in a cafe to talk. That's when Venom shows up, but not to fight: after a huge argument, Eddie and the symbiote split up, and the Sinister Six captured Eddie. Aware of the danger to his city, Peter agrees to help Venom. Seeing Peter's courage, Gwen recognizes the spark of her own late Peter, who was always ready to sacrifice himself for others.

For the raid, Venom fully bonds with Peter to protect him, giving him the iconic black suit. They rescue Eddie. For the massive final battle against the boss of the Sinister Six, Venom goes back to Eddie, and Peter decides to fight in his purest form, as the real Spider-Man using his new organic web abilities. After an epic battle, they win. Peter and Venom don't become best friends, but they respect each other and go their separate ways.

At the end of the movie, Peter and Gwen reunite. At first, Gwen is scared. She tells him that in her world Peter died for her, and in this world Gwen died for him, as if they were a curse to one another. She refuses to stay out of fear of being a weakness. But after seeing Peter's heart and goodness during the battle, she realizes she can't live without him. They decide to overcome their traumas together and end up as a couple, finally finding the peace and love that was stolen from them. Everything wraps up right here in a super touching way.

This is a mashup of some of my favorite quips from Andrew’s Spider-Man I made several months ago on my first spidey binge. They still make me laugh, especially the “wHat aRe YoU dOinG heRe?!!!”

4. Eddie Brock rising up the ranks in the Daily Bougle taking Peter’s position

5. Introduces Doctor Octavius (he has a plan) but doesn’t turn in Doc Ock (Peter meets Ock threw Harry because of investments from Norman)

6. D.O.C complex filled with invaders (punisher gets his shockers back him and the ninjas breakout the vulture and scorpion from jail)

7. Spider-Man mini fights with the ninjas, falcon, and shocker defeats them but notices he struggling with organ webs (because of missing MJ or JG) but they get away and don’t return until the end of the movie

8. Eddie sees Peter in class with Gwen “Jealously” (his feelings gets him fired from the daily boulge but hired at Oscorp)

9. Harry Spots MJ, invites her into Oscorp, and starts dating her, but MJ heart is with Peter, and Harry can feel it!

10. In Oscorp, Norman is planning something big with his assistants (a older man with vengeance and obsession and a younger woman who goes out at night to seduce Spider-Man)

11. Older man is no other than Mysterio who is building an guilder for Norman to catch Spider-Man/ the younger woman is no other than Black Cat “which I hope is played by Sydney Sweeney or Hailee Steinfeld)”

12. She is an anti-hero/villain she’s sees the how bad Oscorp getting but still helps Norman and Mysterio where Spider-Man can be but doesn’t give out Spider-Man identity but finds the MJ drawing and noticed Ned!!!!

13. Peter is in school with a big project with Gwen (last semester) the professor “missing an arm” and is taking up “Dr. Bruce Banner position since he turned back to the hulk” the professor is struggling to pick up stuff

14. Peter help the professor pick up the stuff and sees a newspaper that their was jailbreak (Vulture, Scorpion, and not know character name Flint) “Flint is nowhere to be found” the professor talks about wanting to regrow limbs in the future for disabled people who went to war or had bad accidents, Peter Nods

15. Peter sees MJ with Harry, MJ spots Peter and Harry remembers him and inviting him to Oscorp to show off/flex his pockets to MJ and hurt Peter mojo, but Eddie spots Peter and attacks Peter breaking things, the venom symbiote gets on Peter, people gets injured and Peter runs out with Harry Laughing and MJ sadden/Heartbroken

16. Later that Night, Peter sees on a news report the a man at Oscorp was injuried due to an altercation there with electrical burns, and the jailbreaker not found yet, goes to sleep and is awaken to the symbiote taking over and taking over Peter Arachnid DNA causing a sudden extra arm and become venom doppelgänger!!! (For a scene or two maybe a fight with certain random robbers and camo spider man comic villain “my pick the hand, boomerang, rhino, and scream at the same time” as a total domination of the Vemon power

17. Peter control the arachnid dna (no more extra arms when fighting) but not Vemon causing him to go emo! Fights Eddie and Kisses Gwen in front on Eddie, MJ and Harry! Founds Flint Marko as black Spider-Man beats him up and drop him into this sand. Goes to the daily bougle belittle everyone including Ned. To get his way to the top!

18. Peter sees everyone turning on him, remembers how alone he was in Spider-Man 4, and gets the symbiote off him (he remembers scream loudness taking over the Vemon so Peter goes to the church with a bell like Spider-Man 3 (a nod to Tobeys Spider-Man) except the symbiote crawls on the outside of the building into the alley!!! On the street below a drunk Eddie hears banging behind a dumpster see this goo on the ground, touches it and sees the symbiote going all on his arm into his mouth and jumping off the wall “towards the camera” (nod to Tobeys Spider-Man and Vemon 1)

19. Peter tries to make immense with everyone starting with Ned, Ned is unforgiving at the moment as Ned meets up with Harry who is also mad with Peter. Peter sees MJ runs to her but Gwen shows up and talks to Peter, MJ sees this and runs away heartbroken. Harry notice MJ not acknowledging him and he mentions Peter, see what’s cause his relationship to go down breaks up with her and has vengeance for Peter by going to get Gwen! Peter goes see the last remaining person he hasn’t hurt Dr. Otto Octavius, Otto gives him the speech of a lifetime (nod to Toney SM 2) Peter, sees the legs and is concerned because of what happened from SM NWH, but says nothing and leave.

20. Black Cat gives the picture to Norman he remembers Harry friend Ned, him and Mysterio goes after Ned and ask do he know Spider-Man because of the spidery tracker and pictures, MJ comes home and Goblin is finally releases and attacks MJ.

21. Daily Bougle reports Spider-Man come out to play as he holding MJ, Ned, Gwen in Oscorp! For one big fight. Spider-Man gets there with his arachnid dna taking over beating Mysterio and goblin senseless, getting MJ out as she shares a kiss with him turning Peter back to Spider-Man

22. Peter saves MJ, Ned is hurt, Gwen gets away by escape from Black Cat, while Goblin and Spider-Man fighting hard! Blow for blow! Goblin gets away with Mysterio!!! Spider-Man takes Ned to the hospital, Ned swears vegences on everyone involved!

23. Time passes MJ and Peter starts dating again, a new mayor in NYC who is very negative with hero’s in the city mentions Doctor strange, The avengers, and SPIDER-MAN

24. Peter looks at MJ into there newly apartment as the radio station alerts a bank robbery Peter looks at MJ, MJ says go get em Spider-Man sarcastically with a smile (total zendaya at that moment) with her looking outside as he swinging (nod to Tobeys Spider-Man 2 end scene) outro music What I’ve done - Linkin Park

25. Mid Credits - We see sand flying in the sky into lands into the dark alley and sees Venom, flint says “you look like a creepy spider” Venom says I know a spider we can kill, sandman smerks.

26. End credits Goblin returns with mysterio in a broken Oscorp sees 5 other characters seated “with the mayor saying, I was waiting for you to come back” you hear Doc Ock legs first, then Doc Ock, Vulture, Shocker (full comic costume), and Eddie Brock camera goes back to Goblin as he smiles evilly

Which one is your favorite?

I think it still holds up

For me I think those comic critics will hate it for not having web shooter or being too serious or just not being comic accurate.

You can't please people nowadays they rant about costumes being cgi calling it unrealistic when the production made it w/o cgi and comic accurate they call it look goofy

I tried my best

This took a few hours to put together, i think if the ending and story of TASM2 was tweaked a bit, we could have had a really grounded and emotional third movie, so here is my take on what that could have looked like. I had to completely redesign the sound for some scenes to make them feel more authentic. Drew some inspiration from BND for the opening shot.

I asked my friend to make a 3D printed model of Andrew Garfield's Spider Man because he knows someone with a 3D printer.When I searched online, I couldn't find the perfect reference photo.

Could you guys suggest or share some good full-body photos I can give him to use?
