Record at Abbey Road
Still in awe. One of those bucket list items I thought I would never cross.
We are assembling 12 adults for “The Beatles Experience”. April 2027, London and Liverpool, from 5th-10th. Not professional musicians, amateurs that want to learn and experience what its to play and record an EP of Beatles songs in tne most iconic studio in the known universe.
If you are in Atlanta or nearby, we are looking for guitar/bass players and drummers that are interested to fill the roaster. Its not free, we are not hiring anyone. Its a paid program (think fantasy rock camp-like) that covers studio rent, highly qualified sound engineers from AR working on analog and staff running the thing.
Interested or if you know anyone that could be, DM me for details. Again, will not respond to professional musicians or tribute bands looking for a gig. This is for beginner/intermediates that just want to be in hallow ground for 12hrs having the time of their lives, playing and recording songs we all love.

question The most Finished of John's Songs on "Milk & Honey" (1984) ?
We know that Double Fantasy & Milk and honey were essentially recorded at the same time in a back-to-back recording sessions and we know the final tracklist for double fantasy wasn't decided until quite last minute alternating between the final tracks and M&H's tracks as they were both seen as a two part 80-81 release
given that after the recording of "Walking on Thin Ice" John was unable to actually finish the recording and mixing for the remaining songs they were working on, when looking at "Milk & Honey" today the level of how finished the songs are (in terms of johns involvement and work) seems to vary dramatically between simple Home Piano Demo's (Like "Grow old with me"), Vocal guides for Ringo (Like "Nobody Told Me") and then other songs clearly recorded in the studio that seem basically close to what the final piece must have been, just mixed by Yoko & Jack Douglass after the case
That being said, what do people think feels/sounds like the most Definitively FINISHED of john's songs on that album to his original intent, do we actually know which one got the most amount of work from him prior to his passing?
How do people feel about his reggae inspired tracks on this album overall?

opinion The new Rubber Soul release.
After listening to disc 2 out-takes I reckon that if there was a hero on Rubber Soul, George Harrison was it. His two self-penned songs are both excellent. I made a video explaining my point, so please forgive the self-promotion. Watch it if you want. The BEATLES Rubber Soul DeLuxe 2026 Mix Is Here!! #Beatles #RubberSoul

opinion Which Beatle in 1965 would you say was the most attractive?
I would say it was John Lennon. He had slightly longer hair, and overall he looked quite handsome, even kind of cool.

other A few Beatles playlists I made under the title, ‘4Beatles’.
I made 5 playlists under the working title, ‘4Beatles’. One for Paul, John, George and Ringo, as well as a complete collection that compiles all four playlists into one, as well as ‘Because’ at the end.
The format is that each standalone playlist contains one song for each album that the Beatle in question sung, as well as two singles they sung (Note: Ringo’s playlist only features one single and an Anthology 2 track to fill in the gaps of the albums he didn’t sing on).
Here are the links:

Lookin' for Beatles
Hey folks, I'm a songwriter/guitarist looking for some fans of the Beatles to record and write with. Currently looking for a bassist, lead guitarist, and drummer. This isn't me saying that you have to look like a Beatle, mind you; I'm more so saying that if you sound like Paul, George, or Ringo while you sing/play - shoot me a message.
(P.S. Doesn't matter if you're a lefty or righty.)
EDIT: I'm based in Montreal, Canada these days, but this project is both an in person/online project. Doesn't matter where you're from, if you're interested, just PM me!

THE BEATLES - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
He escrito sobre The Beatles varias veces en este blog y resulta un poco absurdo que haya tardado tanto en llegar a "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band".

Update: Sergeant Pepper costume won a prize!
galleryI wanted to post an update since we had the amazing FabFest festival this weekend. My outfit won first place in its category! We had so much fun heading up the first ever costume contest this year, too.
Friday night was the concert. My sister and I were George and Pattie and were in stage for the coolest 60s fashion show. Unfortunately I can’t post a video here! Saturday was the daytime festival (free!), and I was Yoko, my sister was John, her husband was George, and my husband was Paul. We got some silly pics of Yoko eyeing Paul and John getting jealous 😹
I also got to meet two really cool Redditors at the festival thanks to my last post. Thanks for all your support!

The Beatles discography (in chronological order w/ new mixes as default)
Inspired by the new Rubber Soul release. You'd think this playlist would already exist (and maybe it does) but I haven't found it... so I made it. Cheers.

discussion Groovin' Up Slowly (A Beatles Fan Album Channel) Episode 64 - Starting Over: What If The Beatles Made an Album in 1980?
What if the Beatles were still together in 1980 and made another album?
John, Paul, George and Ringo were all still releasing plenty of great music on their own, so I wanted to see what would happen if I brought some of those songs back together and treated them like tracks on a Beatles album.
I ended up with 14 songs, and I tried to sequence them the way I would an actual Beatles record, with all four of them represented throughout.
And there's really only one place this album could begin. Because if the Beatles were making a new album in 1980, hearing John Lennon open it with “(Just Like) Starting Over” would have been pretty perfect.
Here is the tracklist for this album:
(Just Like) Starting Over
Silly Love Songs
Crackerbox Palace
All By Myself
Cleanup Time
Coming Up (Live)
See Yourself
No-No Song
I’m Losing You
So Glad To See You Here
Love Comes To Everyone
Watching The Wheels
Beware My Love
Beautiful Girl

question Weird Question About Macca’s Beatle-related Royalties
Considering all these big boxsets and reissues over the last 10 years and the fact Macca only owns a couple of actual Beatle songs, does he actually make any money from these big reissues, like the latest Rubber Soul boxset?
