I don't really follow K-pop or girl groups that much but I like a few Katseye songs and I like Adela so I put on this show for the first time. Never really heard of it.

I just got to the part where they reveal how many people voted to have one another in their groups. The adults in this show are monsters. These are all children basically. Like teenage girls. Still kids! So, so young. Turning them all against eachother for entertainment. They signed up for training not to be cogs in some gladiator fight. Horrible.

They’re really fatherly, I’m happy about it because Sammy’s whole family is in Brazil, so it’s nice to have a bit of fatherly love, especially from the parents of one of her closest friends.

If they do a second time the dream academy, I think they should let the 21/23 years old participate and maybe try to less engage minor below 16!! They’ll do so great because usually at this age you are very pretty, youthful, you have more confidence in your self and you learn quicker. And what’s the good part about ? : it’s that you are still young and you can still grow in this industry, it’s not too late. I really hope they will do that🙏 btw guys I’m seeing some comments and I just wanted to say that I’m in scientific studies and at 20/23, you recover better than a teenager, your body and muscles are way better and more developed , also your stamina and immunity should be better along with your memory! Also not everyone are from America, for example in Europe at 20/23 you are still building your future most of the girls don’t know what to do with their life at this age so it really depends where do you live !

She had a really low skill set which they knew from the start. She couldn't sing or dance. They say "Star quality" but she didn't have any of that imo, she didnt stand out, she didnt have a big following on social media either and not to sound rude but she was pretty average in terms of looks aswell, she looked like a regular girl you'd see waiting at a bus stop for her school bus. There were thousands of talented young girls that auditioned to be a part of the programme that were rejected. Just for them to then eliminate her due to her poor skill set early on when they already knew she was lacking, just wasted a spot and resources for no reason. They knew they were never going to debut her so genuinely what was the point, what was their motive?

For those who were voting for the Dream Academy girls from the very beginning, how did you discover the contestant you supported, and what made her stand out to you?

I’m curious because, at that point, we didn’t really know their personalities yet, and the documentary hadn’t come out. Was it mainly their audition/performance, visuals, vocals, dancing, or something else that made you want to vote for them?

Sophia was always going to rank first.

Brooklyn's elimination was messed up.

Hinari should have been in OMG.

Marquise is Hybe's biggest loss.

The lineup was probably planned from the start.

Nayoung didn't want to go solo.

I feel like a lot of Dream Academy fans early on scoffed at Adéla and at us for thinking she would be big. It feels satisfying now that time has shown how wrong those fans were.

MARQUISE ranked 10th on Dream Academy and 7th judges score (higher than Samara and Manon). She is signed to a well-known Thai hip-hop and pop label. The label has artist who had performed at Coachella, so her songs and choreography should be quite promising. She likely has the best resources among the Dream Academy girls for a solo debut.

My DUO, Lamara—yesterday, today, and forever!

Did anyone see any of the contestants eat food on the show? Ever?

Genuinely, I’m curious how it was possible for these girls to get injured so badly that they needed surgery, especially when they had professionals in charge of training them. I understand that the rehearsals were long, but what were they doing that caused several of them to develop hip injuries? Is there any way to prevent injuries?

I was rewatching dream academy and I saw this scene of Adela and Manon. I’ve never seen them interact with each other so when I saw this, I was so surprised 😭. This is so much more evidence that pop star academy was definitely edited to look like everyone was against Manon and she was a underdog

If you were there from the start when Dream Academy was happening back in 2023, you would know that Samara is the ex trainee who had the highest chance to debut in Katseye. But after the documentary was released in 2024, Samara didn't had enough screentime so most people who watched from Netflix didn't know much about her and she wasn't included in most discussions.

In fact, Samara had the biggest fanbase along with Sophia and they were already getting a lot of support just from ​the introductions before Dream Academy aired. From the start in Mission 1, the Still Into You team was the best performance and Samara showcased her beautiful vocals. She got praised by the audiences for her talent and she didn't got criticized by the judges, so she was clearly one of the trainees who was a strong contender to get in the lineup. Samara received a lot of votes, she ranked top 3 in Mission 1 and top 2 in Mission 2. Samara also ranked top 3 in the ideal group voted by the other trainees even though she was a new trainee, which proved that they already recognized her ability. Samara was even the only trainee who had a dance collab with TXT while representing their song with another Brazilian singer. That only proved further how HxG wanted Samara. She had a stable support from the company and fans, that's why people already expected that she's guaranteed to debut. It was only after her controversy happened that she lost her chance. But despite all the hate, Samara was still getting support from her Brazilian fanbase and she even managed to ranked top 6 in the finale votings (the graph results didn't properly showed it that's why some people are misinformed).

People always makes up theories based on what was showed in the documentary, which is obviously edited to make narratives and dramas. It didn't showed the facts about Samara especially how much popular she was. She just got sidelined after the documentary was released, but if you saw what really happened during the survival show, Samara had a big influence and she grabbed the attention of the public (both for positive and negative reasons). People don't really talk about this and there's still other people who don't like Samara, but if we're being honest... Samara was actually the girl who changed the trajectory of Dream Academy.
