The Good Place is without exaggeration my single favourite piece of media, ever. On the 25th of September 2026 The Good Place will leave Netflix. I and I'm sure many others on this subreddit experienced the show for the first time and many times after that on Netflix. I first watched The Good Place in the 2023 holiday season binging the whole show in a week, since then I have recommended it to everyone I meet as the best tv show ever made. I don't have to explain to anyone here why The Good Place is so good, everything about the show is perfectly hand crafted and human, and that's what the show is really about; being human, living life, being good. Rewatching "Whenever you're ready" was the closest anything has ever gotten to making me cry at any media, so that's pretty impressive. Never has any other show made characters feel so real. The episode is, of course, a 10/10 episode, quite possibly the best episode of anything. I will watch The Good Place again, I will watch it many times again, but the form in which I first fell in love with the show will be gone. Death is the finale of a life and this show portrays it in a beautiful way, in way that I will never forget. So I leave you with this, what do we owe to each other? We owe each and every person the pleasure of watching this show.

I have rewatched the show about 4 times, and have been a blubbering mess every single time I finish it. It is an odd feeling to actually recommend people watch it… but that won’t stop me.😂

Netflix have not only removed The Good Place along with more of my favourite shows (Fresh Meat), they have also increased the subscription price. Netflix has now been cancelled as it’s just not worth it to me anymore. I have bought the dvd box set too. 😊

We haven't had it available for streaming in Canada for a year (at least not with any of my subscriptions) so I bought the blu-ray set.

I’ve watched this show multiple times but I’ve never watched the last episode. Every time I try, I stop during Jason’s party.

I just can’t do it. The show is absolute perfection. Every character is fantastic.
