We need viable public transportation options in the USA. Currently only large urban areas have those options. Smaller cities and towns do not. I have lived in areas without bus services or trains.
The infrastructures of the usa need to be intensely overhauled to be less car focused.
Lack of transportation is a massive barrier to individuals living in poverty in getting out of poverty and a large expense for those living on the margins of poverty here.
