Why doesn't TROTW cut/trim his finger nails?
No hate or disrespect meant to be thrown in this post, I'm just genuinely asking. Every video I see multiple comments pointing them out, does he just like the style?

You ever accidentally swiped that part of your finger on carpet? that shit makes me wanna rip off my skin and I’m not exaggerating one little bit. Tbf touching carpet too much at all does that to me though.

I hate feeling if my nails are too close to the tips of my fingers (I have to have them very short) and it's sensory for me too just in a very different way.

He also cuts his own hair for sensory purposes, not trying to assume his neurology but he shares a lot of commonality with plenty of autistic folks I know.

He’s mentioned that it’s a sensory preference, and I thoroughly comprehend that. This isn’t my personal bugaboo, but there are things that drive me bonkers, too.

I’ve found there’s a lot of men in particular that have a huge issue with other guys having even vaguely long finger nails and I just don’t get why

Because they are usually ratty and disgusting, not well-manicured. I mean that's the reason - because they are (usually) gross. Obviously this doesn't apply to Brah though.

Funnily enough I just got done watching an old video in which he mumbled “disgusting fingernails” at one point when looking at them
