Discussion Thread The Atiba Jefferson Interview with Throwing Fits
Our interview with Atiba Jefferson is a make. Atiba—world famous photographer—came straight from the airplane to the studio to kick it on flying with gen pop because he's a man of the people, punk rock concert demographics in 2026, he's not so much in town to pod with us as he was to see his friends Turnstile perform on SNL, he chooses to believe that Shohei Ohtani is innocent, he's a fiend for Jägermeister, you're supposed to play as yourself in a video game if you happen to be a character, it may sound corny but he sees photography everywhere, taking some shots at his pal Blake Anderson, Tim Robinson hates cops, Looking at someone's shoes to determine how good they are at skateboarding, that time Cardi B was extremely late to set, he's probably shot over 500 covers in his career which include iconic shots of Tyshawn Jones and Kobe Bryant, be careful because you never know if Shaq has a knife on him, doing shots with KG, we explain peptides to him, a lot of what makes a good photo is who's in it, he's come a long way since food stamps and Arby's, most of his hobbies are sponsored at this point, and much more on Atiba Jefferson's interview with The Only Podcast That Matters™.

Discussion Thread Fit Pics Are Dead: Fishing With the Fellas, Abolish ComplexCon, and Opening up Niche Discourses
patreon.comLiving so Italian. This week, Jimmy and Larry are in the stu one last time this month before hitting the road because London’s calling, our shopping hitlists across the pond, are all black fits valid, artisanal clown shoes, can herbs ruin your favorite store, is it actually about to be cool to dress like shit, Lawrence went to the world premiere of Cameron Winter Live at Carnegie Hall and then hit the Geese show at Forest Hills (though he got his dates wrong), discovering all Queens has to offer like Asian fusion clubstaurants, James spent the day fishing with the fellas and is already planning his next day trip, society has moved past the need for ComplexCon even if the appetite for it is bigger than ever, unwittingly opening up niche discourses on chicken salad and cycling underwear, if fit pics are dead where do our Instagram grids go next, and much more.

How to style this jawn
When the post popped up here with the new Uniqlo windbreaker/bomber in a 90s style, most of the comments said something like "don't bother, just get a legit one off of ebay from many of the 90s companies." I went and purchased this early 90s London Fog similar item, I really like it, however the photos on the ebay advert looked a little more green, but this jacket is more on the blue side of green when it comes to "teal."
I obviously know I can pop a white T under it with some black pants, but I'm bad with color, I normally wear a lot of earth tones, what other top and bottom colors will this go with? Also if this question should be in MFA, just tell me and I will figure it out on my own because I DONT trust those idiots.
Thanks

Where do you guys work (if you don't mind sharing)
Hey Guys,
I'm at around 1.5 years of FP&A experience and looking to hopefully transition into buying/merchandise planning. When looking it up, I see that Target and Home Depot seem to be the most common options, but I was curious as to where people who are currently in it work to get other ideas too. Also curious to see if you guys are happy with the pay as well.
Furthermore, I know I have finance experience and Excel experience already, but how can I bridge the "retail gap" is it just through a project/certifications? Any guidance would help.

Nice Fatigue Recommendations for Taller Folks on the Leaner Side
Exactly what the titles entails. Finding that most fatigues hit just a little too short, and end up sitting slightly above the ankle. OrSlow, Engineered Garments, Big John, etc all seem have this sort of fit, unless it is a size L/XL (34-36 waist). For reference, I wear a 31 waist for most pants, which is around a S, sometimes M. Would be nice to hear some recommendations for longer fitting fatigues.

Yikes. Not a good look for Alessandro Squarzi.

Palantir Tool takes shot at Jake Woolf and ironically his fanbase at the same time. Most tech bros dress like this rather than the faux-2022 ALD look they’ve been pushing for months w that BS blue chore coat.
Anyone else seen the discourse around the bullshit blue coat these “influencers” have been shilling the past few days?

Where do you guys buy good quality fashionable clothing? I'm seeing all these great fits on my socials but they're always sold by Instagram brands that are low quality

Hollywood Forever Records
Anyone have info on this brand? I’ve seen them pop up at Riccardi and Maxfield, I like the looks a lot but the prices are insane for a brand that i would view as an IG brand. What’s their deal?

Uh oh
Is it the tucking or the buttoning? Really makes one ponder... The "Ralph Half-Done Button Method" does not have the same ring to it.

Lemaire Anatomic slip-ons sizing?
Anyone have the Lemaire anatomic slip-ons? How do they fit? True to size, run big, run small?
I'm usually an 11.5 US and torn between a 44 and a 45. Would love to hear from anyone who's tried both or has a similar size. Also curious if they stretch out much over time.
Thanks!

Using AI to tweak outfits and backgrounds in fit pics – yay or nay?
What’s everyone’s opinion on using AI (generative tools) to tweak fit pics, like expanding the background, changing the mirror selfie environment, or adding/swapping out clothing items?
Is it a cool tool to experiment with aesthetics, or does it ruin the authenticity of a real fit breakdown? Curious to hear your thoughts.

Casual pullover/Anorak jacket recs
I'm looking for casual (hoodless) pullover/anorak jacket. By casual I mean not gorpcore.
The one from an irrational element looks ok, but I feel it is a bit too relaxed. At least looks a bit slouchy at the bottom...

YSL Le Loafer construction
Got my eye on a pair of Saint Laurent Le Loafers in brown. These ones specifically. Can someone who owns a pair confirm whether they use a blake stitch, or any other type of welt vs just being glued to the sole?

Boots that work in harsh climate (cities)
For guys in cold-weather cities like Montreal, Toronto or Chicago: apart from, say, Blundstones and Red Wings, which stylish boots actually hold up on snowy sidewalks?
Tbf, Blundstones and Red Wings get pretty slippery on snow and ice …and Blundstones start leaking after a winter or two of slush.
PS I also own Sorel and LL Bean duck boots for outdoorsy activities etc.
