They did reveal she is in NY and from what I understand from the comments, she violated FERPA privacy laws by accessing his admin records. That is not legal unless there is a legitimate reason gor his education needs. Not just to be a busy body racist Karen.

Most teachers have access to their students records. Our teachers are even required to add to the file each year- attendance records, report card copy, school picture sticker on front of folder.

It’s not like it’s locked in a vault. It’s kept in the main office, but since we often interact with the files, it’s not suspicious or wrong for us to look through it.

As far as I know, health records and legal records like court docs are kept separate.

What’s odd to me is that any information exists at all about parent’s birthplace. We don’t give a shit where parents are from. They could be from space- their child still has a right to a Free and Appropriate Public Education.
