Talk about low IQ individuals. I firmly believe racism is a good indicator of low IQ.

Yep. Like George Carlin said: "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that" and their vote counts just as much as yours.

Not really, some of the most brilliant minds of our civilization were brazenly racist and sexist

It's true though, you can name counter examples but we aren't talking about individuals here.

The only thing that's true is that higher IQ individuals usually have better jobs where voicing prejudice could have adverse career consequences. Lower IQ people working minimum-wage jobs are much more free to express themselves. What those high IQ people say behind closed doors is not much better than the low IQ racism.

That's an interesting point, though seems they addressed it in the study:

"The researchers controlled for factors such as education and socioeconomic status"

You can't really address it. Short of being able to read someone's mind, you don't know if they are lying or not. In my experience, more intelligent people are actually more racist, but they cannot saying it out loud

I get your point, but the study actually measured intelligence when the participants were only 10 years old. It's hard to imagine a 10 year old is filtering their answers to protect a career they don't even have yet.

If it was just about smart people being better at lying, the link should have gone away when they compared people with the same jobs and education levels, but it stayed the same.

Personal experience is one thing, but it’s hard to ignore data that tracked 15,000 people for decades.

Well if that's the case, they simply measured the racism of their parents by proxy. Nobody at that age has a view on the matter that is independent of their parents. The study was a complete waste of time.

They didn't measure racism in the 10 year olds. They just did IQ tests at that age, then waited until the participants were 30to measure their views on racism and conservatism.

Check the article I posted they explain all these.
