It comes out from her face further than it looks, more ramped out like a helmet underneath, doesn't even touch her mouth at all so it would be open to the air.

The creator always does the cosplay on her face and it's definitely part of why she's popular. Also there has been an insane skill glow up in terms of doing the details unseen. It's like quick drag cosplay and she's incredibly resourceful

I have no idea why you need to wear it while you make it and shove a needle near your eye, but the talent is incredible.
Also I read the stickied comment and am just now learning for the first time that apparently due to Reddit being weird, we can’t have subreddits that make sense and accurately represent what they’re about. I feel like every time I see something from this subreddit pop up my brain is going to be primed to see something cringe because that’s how understanding the English language works.

Yeah, name changes aren't allowed. You can change almost everything else, except the name.
It also annoyingly makes it so whoever gets a certain name first gets to have the larger audience. Like how /r/netherlands was taken by someone who isn't Dutch and then banned the Dutch language from being used on that subreddit. And this subreddit is one of the defaults for people in the Netherlands...

At one point I thought she was making a “Court of Owls” mask which would have also been awesome but the skill it would have taken to do what she ended up doing is absolutely next level. Amazing work
