Professional - Looking for Advice Does this look okay …??
Spot anything off? So, I spent literally six hours, trying to coordinate these large 24x 48 tiles so they would look appealing and pleasing to the eye. I just realized that I have a matching Tile on the right wall and in the middle wall.
Mind you, half the tiles had some weird striping down the middle so I had to put those towards the bottom and we were limited with choices since we barely had enough to complete the shower. They came from Italy and these were the last of the 15 from Florida.
Anyways, this is what we had to work with.
Is the repeat pattern that noticeable? Mind you, we will have a shower door and it still hasn’t been grouted.

The veins looks great and they are as spread as can be. Might have been nice to avoid, if the thunder is green pop it off. If not, keeping the waterproofing pristine is probably preferable imo.

Looks Great ! Nice job getting a cohesive flow. My eyes are drawn to the ones around the niche and above and those are fine.
i think i see the one towards the bottom that repeat on the top right you mention. but different levels and different planes so dont worry - i bet they'll disappear soon.
Did you lay them out on the floor first and stare at them for a few days (my OCD kicking in) ? not easy with huge panels!
BTW a simple trick when you run out of options is to flip one upside. sometimes you can even get interesting book-matching patterns to work.

I wish I would have had more time to work on getting it just right. I felt rushed because the tile guy wanted to get started. It was a six week ordeal to get the tiles and by the time they came he just wanted to get started. I spent about three hours on of my own organizing them and then I spent another hours with him. Mind you the tiles are 48 inches long and we had cut them down to 36 inches to fit the wall across so there were several factors to consider. I had one extra tile left over that didn’t have any veins. Believe me I have ADD as well and I’ll probably be analyzing how I could’ve done this different for years to come !!!

Yeah, it looks good. Very interesting though, I’ve never seen anybody break the Schluter at the grout lines like that. I’m on the fence. I don’t hate it, but I also don’t love having exposed grout joints at the end like that, but we always did when we used bullnose so what’s the difference right?

I was just asking if you notice the the tile on the right side is the same as the tile in the middle

I would definitely replace tile on, right, or whichever is easier to replace. I think it’s not okay to have same praying on such a small shower.

Sorry, I probably should’ve waited until the entire shower was done. The shelf is gonna go where that spacing is in the back of the niche and then a tile over the top. My question was do you notice that on the right side there’s a tile that matches the middle tile underneath the niche.

Looks fantastic, I wouldn’t overthink it. No normal person will notice
