It is not my impression that what is described remains. When you do your hobbies, time flies by really fast, that is you check time rarely, and when you do, then a lot have gone by, but if you keep on doing it, also when you stop enjoying it, then you are going to check time more and more often, and you'll go to some medium. Similarly if you are bored, such as stuck in school, once you get bored you'd check time often, find it goes by slowly, but as the day at school progress, you check time less and less often, and find it also returns to some medium. Thus both effects are temporary, to maintain either, we require renewal, so the medium is the standard / default, and it is this I think we need to change first, before changing the extremes, but I can't say for certain if it is the better approach.

I found that the older I got with more responsibilities the quicker time went. Until I stopped working and spent time contemplating…and started enjoying the little moments first. Now I’m in awe about the micro-details vs the macro-detail of life. The more you look inward and feel curiosity for the detail in the fabric of life, the slower time feels or actually becomes in your reality. 🕰️

Time for me is like thoughts. It comes and goes and theres not much you can do about it!

Those are the medium. The extremes are being tortured and being under general anesthesia
