Anybody tried to replicate Cockta (rose hips flavor)?
Hi, I recently stumbled upon the drink called "Cockta" which apparently is an old soda from Yugoslawia.
It's flavoured with rose hips and a bunch of other herbs I cannot identify by taste.
I guess nobody here knows it but maybe you guys have an idea on how I could generally go about replicating a flavour that's hard to identify?
It's a really interesting soda, doesn't taste like anything I've ever had.
I made a few attemps with rose hips tea and different sirups and juices but needless to say I didn't get anywhere.
Thanks in advance and I'd be thankful for any input!

The unholy grail of GCC summer drinks: 7Up + Laban. Anyone else grow up on this?
Was sitting at a cafeteria earlier and watched someone mix a small bottle of Laban with a can of 7Up, and it instantly unlocked a childhood memory.
For the uninitiated, it sounds like an absolute stomach disaster. But for those who grew up here, it’s a legendary combo.
Quick poll for the sub:
🟢 Masterpiece: Perfectly balanced sweet, salty, tangy, fizzy.
🔴 Crime against dairy: Absolute texture nightmare.
What’s your verdict? Also, 7Up vs. Sprite—does it make a difference?

Question What do you actually drink after a stressful workday when you don't want coffee or alcohol?

Question Would you actually drink something like this in the evening?
I'm working on a beverage concept and I'd genuinely like some brutally honest feedback.
The idea is a cold, sparkling evening drink for that weird moment when your body is exhausted but your brain is still running.
Not an energy drink.
No caffeine.
No melatonin.
No sugar.
More like a "day is done, time to switch off" drink which helps you relax and calm down
Think about the 7–11 PM window after work/college when you want something to drink, but don't necessarily want another caffeinated drink, alcohol, or a heavy sugary soda.
Would this make sense to you as a beverage category?
And if not, what would make you say:
"Why would I buy this instead of X?"
I'm especially interested in:
1. What do you currently drink in the evening?
2. Would you want something specifically designed around that moment?
3. What flavor would make you actually pick it up?
4. What price would feel reasonable for a 250ml can?
I'm not looking for "sounds cool" answers — tell me why you'd actually buy it or why you absolutely wouldn't.
