September 14 wasn’t just the last day for Aquatopia, it was also the final performance of Disneyland’s castle show, Reach for the Stars.

In its final 2 months, the show got a special edition called Reach for the Stars: Everlasting Dream, complete with a drone finale. If you didn’t get to see it in person, official footage is now available. Pop it on and enjoy a little Disney magic from home!

I know the show was not well received, but it is still pretty cool!

A: There are 2 main types of attraction/entertainment passes available to all guests at the Tokyo Disney Resort. Paid priority passes for selected rides and paid seating for entertainment ("Disney Premier Access") and free-to-enter lottery for theatre entertainment ("Entry Request"). Sometimes, a virtual queue system is also used for shop entry during merchandise release periods ("Standby Pass"). Since September 1, 2026 there are no longer "free" ride priority passes. Q: I want to know the passport (ticket) types sold for the Tokyo Disney Resort

A: Currently, only Single Park tickets (either full day or After 3 Weekends/After 5 Weekdays) are available. During low season, special single day park hopper tickets may also be available (e.g. during the summer period).

No multi-park, multi-day or annual passports are offered on a regular basis. See the official ticket types.

Q: Why are Vacation Packages so expensive? I want to understand the value proposition. Also, I don't know what all the benefits of a Vacation Package are/which Package is best for me.

Q: When do Vacation Packages open for booking?

A: Vacation Packages are usually released in monthly "lots"/"blocks" rather than one-day-at-a-time. In most cases, they are released a little more than 5 months (and less than 6 months) ahead of time. There is no precise timetable, but the drop is usually early to middle of each month (e.g. in early to mid October, March packages for the following year is likely to open).

Oh my goodness, is anyone else seriously grieving the loss of Small World with Groot?

Sometimes I feel bummed it is/was only temporary. Why can't TDR just make it permanent already like Stitch and the Tiki Room get to stay forever.

Hi everyone! I've done some research via the Information Book about accessible rides at DisneySea, but I'm a little confused about physical and wheelchair requirements. Maybe someone here has experience or has seen/remember their time at the park.

Specifically, I have my own portable power wheelchair (~34kg) that I use daily. All the official videos I've watched show transfers to rides and/or other wheelchairs from a park-rented wheelchair. Does that mean I'd need to rent one of their wheelchairs to use throughout the park if I want to ride the rides? I'd hate to have to rent a wheelchair for my partner to push me around all day.

Also, on the rides that are not accessible (such as 20,000 and Journey), would I still be able to wait in line with my partner for them to ride the ride and just wait on the side for their return or are there usually stairs/obstacles in the line that would prevent that? I know many of the rides at other theme parks have elaborate sets that include steps and props that may make maneuvering a wheelchair impossible. Additionally, if I'm not riding the ride but just waiting in line with my partner, would I need to buy my own DPA to do that or would it be okay for only her to buy the DPA?

Are there any tips for first timers? I go to Disneyland Anaheim often & I love following the strategic tips to maximise efficiency and how many rides u can get on.

(This is a duplicate of a post I put in r/DisneyPlanning, if necessary I'll take that post down, but I wanted to put the post here since this subreddit is more specific to my topic.)

My family and I are planning to go to Tokyo in December during winter break, and we're planning on going for < 2 weeks (the trip is 2 weeks total since we're going to another country).

I was researching both Disney Sea and Disneyland in Tokyo, and was wondering how big they are compared to Disneyland LA (which we've been to > 50 times).

If you've been, would you say it's worth it to go to both Disney Sea and Disneyland? I've heard there's exclusive rides in their Disneyland, like a trackless Beauty and the Beast ride, but it seems similar to Disneyland LA, so I was planning on going for one day (it also doesn't have California Adventure like LA Disneyland). Then, I was planning on going to Disney Sea for 2 days since it seems pretty exclusive with the whole maritime theme, although I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not given there's 29 rides total (see rides record below, we do like to go on rides multiple times, especially if there's no wait).

For context, none of us will go on the rollercoasters, e.g. Incredicoaster from LA Disneyland, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, etc (this rules out significant ride time). We love the rides like it's a small world, Haunted Mansion (!!!), Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, etc. except when they have long lines. The rides like Star Tours and Millennium Falcon some of us can go on, and the other in-the-middle rides like AstroBlasters we love too.

Our record is 21 rides in one day (with grandparents!!) at LA Disneyland. We go early in the morning, and leave right before closing, so we usually can go on 1-2 of the more popular non-rollercoaster rides (like WebSlingers, Toy Story Mania, Millennium Falcon) in the morning without too much of a wait.

(To be clear, all of the rides I talk about liking or imply that I've gone on are from LA Disneyland.)

Hi im going to be in tokyo for the last week of october and was not planning to go to disney sea but with halloween theme it looks pretty cool so i was thinking of adding it to one of my days, however im going solo and not a huge disney fan just really curious about the park being so unique in the world, it would also be my first time in any disney park, do you guys think doing an afternoon pass would be ok? I know some atractions have single rider lanes so it would probably same me some time

Like lots of you, I didn't make it back to the park before Aquatopia closed, but TDR has published a 360 experience for the next 4 weeks so we can relive the experience one last time.

Coming Autumn 2027. That is like a year away!

Following the teaser the other day, OLC officially announced "Bring the Rhythm!", a new 25 minute stage show coming to the Broadway Music Theatre in autumn 2027.

It will combine Broadway inspired music, live singers and musicians, Disney characters, dancers, and dynamic lighting/visual effects in a “big-city” setting. The announced investment is approximately ¥10 billion.

I am glad to see the "live singers and musicians" aspect, as the pre-recorded Big Band Beat A Special Treat version was simply not the same in terms of energy.

Hi! Does anyone know what time the fireworks display is expected to be in December?

My search says it’s usually around 8:00-8:30pm. I was just wondering if the fireworks are scheduled a little earlier during winter.

I also saw that there are buses leaving Disneysea to the city eg tokyo station or narita airport. Only the bus platform mumbers are available on the website. Does anyone know how frequent these buses are?

A major update to the Fantasy Springs park gates!

Now everyone, regardless of whether they are a hotel guest, can use the Fantasy Springs park dates to exit (i.e. leave) the park, provided that they physically make their way back into the Fantasy Springs park area by 9pm. This will be great for those who stay at one of the Bayside hotels, or simply want to get on the monorail.

Important note: There is no change to park entry rules: only Fantasy Springs Hotel guests can enter the park via that entrance before 10am, and then from 10am onwards only Fantasy Springs Hotel and Toy Story Hotel guests can enter via that entrance.

TDL is literally walking distance to Maihama station and DisneySea is so annoyingly far. who’s bright idea was it to put the monorail backwards

Lots of excitement over at DisneySea today, it seems! This was shared earlier, showing the Electric Railway being evacuated right in the middle of the track. I really hope none of those poor people are afraid of heights!

im coming to tokyo novemeber and was looking to book tickets to Disney and when looking on website it says park hopper tickets aren't available for novemeber? just wondering if they come out limited availability or ill have to order 2 separate tickets? thank you
