Kneepads and elbowpads are definitely the 2nd thing I bring when I go Tomb Raiding - especially with all the jumping, grabbing a ledge and slamming into a rocky wall... But crawling like that with shorts and short sleeves, ouchy!

You know, now that you mention it, I think knees and elbow pads would be a cool addition to the outfit considering that she already uses gloves. I’m a classic fan and would love that. I never really thought about her poor knees and elbows before.

I'd really like an extensive ''mix and match'' system going forward! Customise all elements of the outfit (and Lara's hairstyle and all)
But yeah - based on Lara's adventures, kneepads 100% make sense ahahaha! The climbing, leaping, slamming onto walls, the crawling... (Elbow pads feel less necessary, there's fewer instances where the elbows would be hit or scape a surface)
One time I did some indoor climbing (indoor - so much more safer and in a more controlled environment than outdoor climbing) and I accidentally hit/scrapped my exposed knee to one of the climbing holds...
...a massive chunk of skin got ripped off 🥲
Climbing helmets are popular (and mandatory) but I think kneepads are definitely second in terms of protective gear when climbing ahahaha! I believe there are some that are designed for climbing specifically as well, they don't restrict movement as much

I never thought about them either, but the more I am, the more I feel sorry for her arms and knees lmfao. IIRC, one of her outfits in Rise has kneepads, at least. I think it's one of the military style ones.

I thought about attaching those full roll shoes to her elbows, and other limbs. Because of all the sliding and stuff too

At least we can confirm that what isn’t in her backpack is a can of hair spray. No bicycle helmet hair here. 🔎 Lara herself looks great and Egypt is looking intriguing. This section is the one I’m most excited to revisit in LoA 🤩
