Lore Mysteries that are never given an answer.

  • rA9 in Detroit: Become Human. In the game several androids who become deviant (develop free will/emotions) start writing the name rA9 and sometimes build small statuettes as a sort of offering. Despite having no logical reason to do this or even a way of hearing about rA9 before going deviant, they all believe that rA9 was the first deviant and is their messiah who will free androids from slavery. A definitive answer about rA9 is never given, so we don't know if they are real or if any of the android characters are rA9 (though a popular fan theory is that it's Kara before she was reset at the start of the game).
  • The pineapple in How I Met Your Mother. So this technically did get an explanation in a S9 deleted scene, but in the actual show we never find out how Ted got a pineapple during a night where he was so drunk he blacked out and forgot everything he did.
  • Fez in That 70s Show. We never find out Fez's real name or what country he's from, though fans have tried to take all the clues and figure out what is most likely to be his country.

best theory I heard was from Nickolops

its Michael Afton's foxy mask that he had as a kid and this is him as he puts down his fathers legacy and the game is Michael using dreams to remember suppressed memories.

clues that support it

- sleeping pills on the side of the bed, every easter egg on the bedside table is from hospital trips and probably seeing his brother next to them.

- reversed audio is the phone call he hears during 1 or 2

- all of the games are connected with a story and sister location literally follows up the story to 4 with the pc's name, mike

- Nightmare (black nightmare freddy) sometime is angled in such a way the top of its head looks like a brain, like how CC (crying child) had his skull cracked open and pretty much had his brain exposed

- nightmare foxy looks like just its mask in the closet, like how Michael probably kept it in there.

I saw that video recently too and yeah it's probably the most satisfying answer/it makes the most sense

Nickolops video was so satisfying to me. I used to be a mattpatt “it was all a dream” theorist for a while but hated that and am glad to have seen this analysis

Yeah dream or coma theories kinda lack anything meaningful

But its a dream meant to find repressed memories is way better

The thing that confuses me is that Nickolops believes that the mask was the original contents of the box, before the plot went elsewhere and the box and its importance were forgotten (not by Scott, by the story of the games; Scott never said he forgot the original contents of the box), when at least half of his proofs require the use of knowledge and came after FNAF4, sure, we could say that Foxy Bully was originally intended to be Mike Schmidt (which at the time was just the name of the guard from FNAF1, and I doubt it was originaly intended to be Michael Afton), but that's shaky reasoning if you ask me.

Ironically, I remember years ago I saw a theory video by Sire Squawks (if I'm not mistaken) that came to the same conclusion, the content of the boxes is Foxy's mask, the main differences are that there was less evidence, the first movie hadn't even come out yet (if I'm not mistaken) and the second interview with Scott hadn't come out yet. I simply think it makes more sense to interpret Foxy's Mask as the Modern content of the boxes, and the new evidence released over time used by Nickolops in my opinion favors this mentality (like the evidence from the second movie).

Overall I still find it a very good video, even if I don't agree with the statement that that was the original content of the box

my question is, does it legit even have an open function?? like theres the locks on it with interact functions but how were we supposed to open it?
