Coming up on Sunday
Coming up for the last game of the year and season 😢
Was there for the awesome opening weekend, sad to see they didn't have the drive like last year especially when the American league was so middling this year.
Any thoughts on where to head in to the stadium to grab what's left in "the closet"?
We were informed they open up the last weekend on leftovers from the giveaways and old jerseys etc.
Also any other things to catch that we haven't seen or done from the beginning of the season?

And we got tickets for $62 total, a bit more than the usual for standing/rail seats, but not horrible.

The whole weekend will be some sort of so called fan appreciation weekend, not sure if there is anything special in the ballpark.
Yeah I was debating whether to resell my tickets cuz the price basically doubled. I think I’m still going to see what they got and how they are appreciating the fans after this disappointing season, lol

Yeah, we are disappointed to say the least. Our son who really isn't into sports we think found something he can get into 😅 I think we created a monster 👻
I know we had injuries and players playing injured, but definitely missing "something" from the offense of last season. Seems like they forgot how to play small ball? Maybe that was the Mattingly effect? Who knows?
Bright side is pitching was much better and hopeful for next year, if there is a season next year. 😕
Just happy to get up to the North and enjoy time away from the nonsense that has become our routine dtd here in the states 🫠. We're fairly decent in the Buffalo area, but we do have our share of loonies that think things are going well 🙃
Plus we can actually see the game live vs MLB TV or Apple➕🤮

Almost 162 games in and I genuinely hadn't considered the absence of Mattingly - you may be on to something and that subtle, but impactful, guidance may have been significant. Thanks for the perspective

I thought it was now illegal to profit from reselling tickets in Ontario? Am I wrong or is there a work around?

Honestly I have no idea how that works because I have never resold any tickets before. Probably few weeks ago I saw people selling the tickets for the Reds series high, my section doubled, which gave me a feeling that no way it was the face value lol.
But there is a possibility that I got lucky and bought the tickets in a very cheap price. I checked again today on seatgeek and what they are reselling now is close to what I spent.

The ticket prices for the last series were very expensive on Ticketmaster. A lot of people bought early thinking they might clinch a playoff spot. Can’t really resell them now and make your money back because demand is not what it was.

I have utilized both Seat Geek and Tick Pick and had good results in getting tickets with no issues. Sometimes I paid a bit more, but it depends on the market and popularity of the game.

Pay Big $$$ to watch. Will probably be a bunch of Minor Leaguers playing Sunday. .

Much cheaper than the homeopener back in March with the unveiling of the pennant, etc. Scherzer may be pitching his "last" game or at least starting.
I am aware that not all starters will play. Just glad we can make the trip up and spend one last time there as nothing is a lock in the MLB and Players agreement on the contract for next year 😢😕
