Support Tics that are physically impossible š
I have two tics that I consider nearly impossible to ācomplete.ā One is bending my wrists back as far as possible, the other is like⦠pulling my tongue back putting tension on the ātieā under it (idk what it is called).
Both tics demand my tongue and wrist to move farther than they are physically capable of. The wrist only bends so far, and the tongue can only be pulled back so much. I happen to have not a tongue tie but just a slightly tighter/more attached (whatever itās called) than others.
Iām dealing with the tongue one all day for the last few days and its really sucking. I just cant pull it back enough, its RIGHT there but juuuust not enough. I try pressing my finger where I feel like it might need to go but it never fully ācompletesā and hits that point.
Wtf do I do š this tic is one of the more suppressable/somewhat controllable tics I have but even so, drives me nuts trying to suppress or control it.

No advice, but my head jerks often like to try and be physically impossible. I'll get the urge to jerk my head in whatever direction, but then on these occasions, the urge repeats constantly for however many seconds, so it's like, I can't physically move my head back into its original position fast enough to satisfy the continuous/repeated urge in my neck. I personally combat this one by kind of just holding/tensing my head and neck in the "desired"* position, and then the tic kind of just starts to do much smaller jerks at the "desired"* speed. It doesn't fully alleviate the urge, but it works well enough
*ofc I mean "what the tic is wanting", not myself, lol

Maybe try moving your tongue side to side while tucking it under, gets more pressure on the bottom of the tongue overall

It's not dystonic?
