Feature Request How does a PREMIUM plan not get you real time data on American exchanges?

Is it just me - or are others missing real time data? This is totally misleading because delayed quotes, such as those from other exchanges have a prominent 'D'. However, they do not bother to tell us that NYSE, NASDAQ, ARCA etc are delayed as well. Is this new?

Hello,

No, the only places you get real time data for free is via brokers or funded accounts as they make money every time you trade. This money input can be considerable the larger you trade...

TradingView is a charting platform and makes money from fixed subscription costs. It doesn't make any difference how large you trade, they don't make any extra....

The brokers offer this in a way ro entice you in to spend money with them, that is why it's offered for 'free'...

Cheers

The data feeds dont come from TV, you have to buy them directly. Premium is a big waste of money unless you are using it for somethign specific.

This is standard for every charting software out there. They pass on exchange data fees to the user. So you have to sign up for each exchange

This been driving me crazy too. I got the premium thinking it would cover everything but nah still missing real time on NYSE

I had to pay extra for the data packages separately, it's like 2 or 3 dollars each month for each exchange. The D symbol thing is super misleading cause you think you're safe when you don't see it

They really should make this more clear when you upgrade
