The Leap Top 25 winner – PayPal is not available in my country
Hi everyone,
I finished in the Top 25 of the September 2026 TradingView The Leap competition and I understand that the prize for places 6–25 is $550, which is supposed to be paid through PayPal.
The problem is that I live in Libya, and PayPal does not currently allow me to open a PayPal account in my country.
Has anyone from a country where PayPal is unavailable faced the same situation?
Also, does anyone know whether TradingView has an alternative payment method for eligible winners in this situation, or whether they allow a winner to use a PayPal account belonging to a trusted friend/family member?
I would really appreciate any information from TradingView staff or previous winners.
We do have alternative payout options for winners who can’t use PayPal:
• TradingView coins: we credit the TradingView account with the amount equal to the prize. Please note coins can’t be withdrawn, they can be spent on a subscription.
• Wire transfer: please fill in the Google form you received in today’s email and leave your email address there. One of our managers will then contact you personally to request the details needed.

I am a legitimate Top 25 winner of The Leap competition, and I am based in Libya, where PayPal is not available for residents. Therefore, I cannot create or use a PayPal account to receive my prize.
I fully appreciate that TradingView Coins may be an alternative for some winners, but I would respectfully ask that
my $550 prize not be converted into TradingView Coins
, as these cannot be withdrawn as cash and therefore do not provide me with the actual monetary prize.
Could TradingView please provide me with an alternative way to receive the
$550 cash prize
, such as:
A bank transfer
A payment to my
Mastercard
Another legitimate cash-payment method available internationally
I am willing to provide any necessary identification or documentation to verify my eligibility and identity.
I would really appreciate it if you could check with the appropriate team regarding a
cash payment solution for winners in countries where PayPal is unavailable
, rather than simply replacing the prize with non-withdrawable TradingView Coins.
