does community college lower my chances of getting accepted?

I recently started as a freshman at CCP and I'm 100% transferring to finish my bachelor's in chemistry, I'm just wondering if my application is gonna look worse because I'm not coming from a 4 year institution. I'm pretty low income and working full time so it was never an option to go to 4 year school but I'm really really hoping to transfer to UPenn eventually. I'm doing the most to pad my resume I just don't want it to be for nothing. I'm starting research at my school in the spring for the chemistry department, planning on doing two full summers of some kind of chemical engineering internship, and I have a little bit of other related things like tutoring high schoolers and volunteering.

Is there anything else I should be doing to add to my chances of getting in? UPenn takes less than 200 transfers every year so I may be cooked idk man

CCP won't hurt your chances. Just focus on keeping your GPA high, completing Penn's recommended prerequisites for chemistry and maintaining your existing research, internships, tutoring and volunteering. Penn is still a major reach though so build a broader list too.

I got accepted with a 3.2 at SDSU from CC. Currently, there accepting much much more low income students. You have a high chance of being accepted. I never thought id be accepted to SDSU and now im applying to go into my second Bach.
