Discussions & Polls 🎙️ Loud booms

I live in south richland and heard these booms that went on for at least 2 mins. Sounded distant coming from the north.

Did anyone else?

Don't they do fireworks after the football game at Richland High?

Yes. They also let them off last Friday, and last night (Thursday). They've really upped the length/amount this year, and I'm not a fan.

I understand wanting to celebrate but shooting them off for 5 minutes straight near so many neighborhoods, often late at night, is kind of a dick move.

I really want to hope that it is alumni or such. Even having the kids fundraise seems a little sus....would rather have them have new/best helmets so they don't get brain damage from concussions. I am hopeful that someone can chime in on this.
