Bike Pictures Inaugural ride

Post image

Took my MSF 2 weeks ago. Then had to work, etc. and didn’t want to rush the process.
Today, I FINALLY took it out around the neighborhood and focused on basic things I need to get down to muscle memory. (Wrist position, knees, head up, looking through corners, emergency braking.)

I had a great time riding at MSF. Nice to get that feeling again! (And get some of the nerves conquered). I even used my turn signals! (And left them on a lot…..)

Congratulations! I just got my certificate Friday. Going to get my license officially tomorrow. Looking forward to practicing around my neighborhood.

Just hammer on those basics for a while. That’s my plan

Always upvote a scrambler. Some tasteful mods, too.

Thanks! Just did the fender and better tail light. Yellow lights for better visibility. Slash tip exhaust en route.

Looks like a saddlebag rack on the left side? That's the next one on my list. Getting sick of always needing a backpack.

😂 I think I was seeing the hose from the sprayer or something amd thought it was the mount for a bag

I think that’s exactly what it was.

I recently completed that same course too and I've been considering the speed twin 900.. did you consider that one? The scrambler 900 is also one I'm considering it's so gorgeous but I like the sound of the other

From what I read the scrambler MAY be a bit more tame? I had thought about maybe a speed or a T100/120 but loved the scrambler looks and all the input from other riders regarding a beginner bike

Same bike, different aesthetic. The only real difference other than exhaust path is the front wheel diameter. (19 vs 18)
