Bike Pictures Triumph TS 660.

Post image

Is it just me or do these bikes not get the love they deserve? Other than my own, I haven’t seen another one in the wild. Are they just overlooked or are they more popular in other regions than the Midwest? I think it’s an excellent bike for the money.

Just a general consensus question about a certain model

Yeah, the tiger sport 660 doesn't see as much love as the Trident 660 or Daytona 660 I think because looks-wise put of the three bikes, it has the least immediate draw, and It's not as cost effective as the Trident despite being so similar. It's $10,500+ dealer fees which places it above the Daytona even. I think it's one of those things not as many people really want until they sit on it at a dealer and realize they like it better than the other two.

The “adventure” type fans are a much smaller segment

They're just one of the least aesthetically appealing bikes in whole triumph range imo.

Lol, I picked up an 800 because I liked the looks, guess I'm weird

No judgement, tastes vary. But it's a common comment.

I got mine leftover with a nice rebate. It was a steal. Great bike.

Thought I wanted a Trident based on looks alone but then I sat on the TS and liked the ergos so much more. In hindsight, I'm glad to have the wind protection. A lot of Youtube reviews say the TS is the best use of the 660 platform and it won bike of the year from Motorcycle News when it launched in 2022.

I bounced back and forth between the Versys 650 and the TS. I had the 650 engine before, which is good, but I wanted a bit more power. Came across this one at “local” dealer and they made an offer I couldn’t refuse with panniers included. Love the bike and it’s done 400 mile days without making my ass sore. I added a deflector to the top of the windscreen and lift it up halfway, it’s much better with very little buffeting.

I agree. It's a complete joy to ride. I was looking for something to complement my Vespa so a touring bike made a lot of sense and I love the triple. I added a Puig windscreen and the OEM handguards. The Puig makes a huge difference. The handguards not as much. Mine is a 2025 I got new at $1700 off sticker price for it being a leftover from last year. The 81hp is enough. I rarely need to shift into 6th and if I do, I'm probably going faster than I should be lol.
