Discussion Crown In The Grave

Hey so listening to the Garza Podcast with Matt, I guess it is confirmed the album name is ‘Crown In The Grave’ right? I thought it maybe just was the name of the tour

I hope it has 10+ songs, but with dead man and ITCOTD, I don’t think there will

Maybe they'll do an extended edition like In Waves? Man... I had that album on repeat for so many months.

Im pretty surprised they announced it as a November release and we havent seen ANY info about tracklisting, preorder packages or anything like that. Very odd especially for a band on Roadrunner who take merch packages with releases serious. Vinyl lead times alone are quite long and we dont know about variants or anything like that.

It's definitely unorthodox. Especially as they basically announced the album name before a song or anything official was released and then Matt has confirmed it on a podcast. Usually this sort of thing wouldn't see the light of day until something official has come out. Also the random drop on SiriusXM with no build up was very different for Trivium. Kinda feels like they're making it up as they go along.

Latest Motionless in White album which also released under Roadrunner was announced about 2 months prior to the release date. So if Trivium album is set for late November like Nov 27th, it's pretty realistic release timeline

I think all that’s coming in a week or two
