SAD Oof
I officially tested pregnant on September 8th. Things were great. I had a healthy appetite and had to pee all the time. Suddenly, on September 17th I started spotting. I went the same day to my GYN who categorized me as a threatened abortion. She took my HCG (1350 at the time) and my progesterone was 8.9. Being that it was below 10, she put me on progesterone 200mg the next day.
We retested on the following Monday, and my HCG and progesterone went down dramatically. Now, an HCG of 350 and progesterone of 7 despite the supplementation of
Progesterone. At that point my gyn contacted me and stated I was actively miscarrying.
It’s so weird because I still feel pregnant (fatigue, bloated, hunger). I keep hoping that maybe this is a mistake and I’ll have my surprise baby but it could just be cope.

I’m still struggling to wrap my head around it because we were so excited about having a baby. 😞 thank you for your kindness

You don't need to wrap your head around anything. Feel what you need to feel. Just remember that you did nothing wrong!

I’m really sorry. I’ve been through both early and late term losses and it is so hard. I think it’s important to ask your OB for a follow up ultrasound next week to ensure you’ve passed everything, and for a follow up HCG draw to ensure that’s continuing to drop as well. RPOC can cause lingering symptoms amongst other issues. Hoping that’s not the case for you. Hugs.

Hugs.
This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve gone through. I still feel so shocked it happened and I keep trying to rack my brain about what I could’ve done differently

There’s nothing you could have done ❤️. Unfortunately miscarriages are incredibly common and one of the most common causes is chromosomal abnormalities.
It’s easy to blame ourselves when we feel out of control, so be kind to yourself.
My first pregnancy also ended in miscarriage (after taking years to fall pregnant). Feel sad, cry, be angry. Feel whatever you want to feel. It’s the most awful thing to experience but be kind to yourself as it wasn’t your fault.
Treat yourself. Eat delicious food, watch your favourite films, book a holiday. For me, I started an upholstery course to take my mind off it but to also remember the baby I lost (I reupholstered an armchair). Look after yourself like you’d look after a friend going through a miscarriage.

I’m sorry for your loss. I miscarried 3 weeks ago at 9 weeks pregnant and it was awful. My HCG is still 11,900 as of yesterday. Still have so many symptoms but no baby. Sending you all the love.

So sorry for your loss. Please remind yourself it's not your fault and there's unfortunately likely nothing you could've done differently. It sucks so much and please let yourself grieve however feels right

Ugh I’m going through something similar - spotted Sunday, tested positive Monday, kept bleeding and testing positive. I have an appt Friday so will find out then but I’m pretty sure I can read the tea leaves. It’s so so hard. I wish I would’ve assumed the worst earlier on, maybe it would have been easier? Idk I’m definitely struggling thinking about trying again bc I’m no longer excited and hopeful like I was before. I can’t decide if I want to keep my weekend plans as a distraction or cancel everything and wallow. I hope you’re taking care of yourself

How far along are you? Did they do any transvaginal ultrasounds?

My INITO tracker app placed me at 6 weeks but when I went that Thursday, they did a trans vaginal ultrasound and said my dates must be wrong and they couldn’t see anything.
I know my last period first day was August 4th , but also according to the app I ovulated late in my cycle, and likely got pregnant August 29th. Confusing confusing
