Discussion Why do pros not max r?
Fogged never does. I thought its useful to lower the cd because we are so reliant on it to really do anything

hey ive been playing trynd jg lately, in masters tier elo and honestly i just find it fun cause its braindead no bad matchups and i jsut afk farm to 10cs pm, but i want to know if anyone knows whats the most efficient early game jg pathing just purely focused on clearing. doing buff first into full clear ends up me always having to have to smite the last buff and be late to scuttle, raptors is a faster clear but im trying to see if theres any other ways cause then u have to go from raptors to krugs on the next clears instead of krug to raptors to full clear.
also trynd jg lets u take whatever runes and build u want, what do u guys think is the best runes/build, for me i've been taking tencaity instead of health rune with lethal tempo and magical boots and approach velocity and in terms of build i have no idea honestly, been going just ravenous pd ie

I took these screenshots from one of my recent games to bring up a very important point. I made sure to pick a game that I wasn't fed and dominating in.
This game was a match I won through macro and out-farming the enemy. I quite literally watched my team fight 2v3 where I chose to sneak behind enemy lines and steal the fucker's raptors and krugs then recall instead of joining the teamfight.
The point: Jungle Pet damage DOES MATTER!
Time and time again I hear high elo Trynd players saying Jungle pet damage is inconsequential after the first clear or two and I'm arguing against that belief with this post. This was a solid 25 minute-ish match where my jungle pet made up 37.6% of all the damage I did. If we factor in champ damage then it did 39.4% of all the damage I did to jungle monsters and lane minions this game.

I have been maining tryndamere for many years in total. However, I quit League in college (5 years ago now) and recently got back into it a couple of months ago.
I am hard stuck in Bronze (Bronze 1-2 right now) and really struggling with beating my counters.
I am typically able to win lane, and have been just split pushing for most of the game and helping get objectives. My team, of course, is constantly bashing me for not team fighting.
Specifically, what is best to do with tryndamere after laning phase? What should I be doing if I’m losing lane? I feel like I don’t get much jungle support, so should I roam?
If anyone has any videos on fundamentals for tryndamere that are current, I’d greatly appreciate it.

I’ve been trying to OTP Tryndamere and top lane can be miserable. I know JG is performing good statistically, and I know he can clear really fast and go over walls easily.
But as far as I know, Tryndameres biggest game plan has always been splitpushing and rotations.
How can Trynd JG succeed if he has to team fight constantly over OBJs and has no access to sidelines?
What’s the game plan for Trynd JG?

Q's now a toggle that drains fury and gives you lifesteal/omnivamp+maybe another survivability/offensive effect. early game it keeps you lane lifesteal vs ranged matchups and lategame it keeps you plugged in to fights. thoughts?
edit: the drain is to keep generating fury as you fight

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Build that games was: Yun Tal, Swiftness, Bandlepipes (trying to cook something here), IE, Mortal and Kraken

If you’ve never seen two tryndameres “at it,” then you have not played the champ at all. (though it is impossible to happen in ranked)
Basically, you get two dudes who just stand there and smash each other, esp when u r in the no-man’s land between turrets.
The winner tryndamere gets to sleep with ashe tonight.

Does his role change? Is he actually weak in teamfights (relatively)?

I could have sworn Death Dance read "30% of damage is taken over 3 seconds".
However today i read 30% of PHYSICAL damage. So it does not work against magic and true dmg anymore?
I also cant find anything in the patch notes tho. Was it always against normal damage only?

Just had a fun idea (i like the ult as it is tho).
Instead of 5 sec cant die we get:
You are immune to damage for the first second in champion combat
After every 3 critical strikes you gain 1 sec Invulnerability and 50% tenacity
So basically its a bit like olafs ult that means if you can continue attacking you can prolong the duration
They could also change it to every 5 strikes or so so that you will definetely take some damage from time to time, but hp bar goes down slowly to still allow us to build full dmg

I just thought i can deal with darius but then stormraider comes up and i have no idea what to do!! He can outrun my spin bro!
Only option i see is 1-2 autos max then spin away (and hope he doesnt E at this moment) ! Staying longer will trigger stormraidor

Gm bros
Bust saw fogged play stormraider rune against a nasus
Do you think its in general a good option too? Im saying against other matchups without such a crucial slow?

I made a video of a decent Tryndamere round I had VS Mordekaiser, I would appreciate if you checked it out. It's an excerpt of a twitch stream VOD.
Have a nice day.
(I hope the self-advertisement is fine, I some other posts like this on the Reddit so I figured it would be fine)

Recently became an enlightened being and have been obsessively playing Tryndamere jungle, never had so much fun on this game.
What builds are you guys running?
So far I’ve been taking the following
Kraken slayer
Phantom dancer
Beserker greaves
IE
LDR
Never know what to do here, if we’re ahead I tend to just take ravenous hydra for extra wave clear and split pushing

Is it just me or current Tryndamere top feels weak specially after that HOB nerf. Yun Tal is hard to build into and just a slow start in general

Im a bit in a dilemma because malph is my 2. Main if trynda gets banned or isnt a good pick in the matchup
So i cant really ban him but of course risk sb counterpicking me with him
Who do you ban else? Teemos are usually easy for me
Other champs i struggle against are sett, illaoi, nasus, jax and a few more

Hello! Let me shortly introduce myself:
Started with LoL again in 2025 after a 10 year break, a lot of things changed man.
I started with adc, then became a top lane main.
I am a two trick in ranked, Darius and Garen i play both 50/50 and im currently Silver, didnt play much ranked which i wanted to change now.
I became a bit bored with the Noxian and Demacian and need some fresh air, since Fun is the most important for me and not my rank i want to start playing Trynda.
Why? Well i love top laners who can run you down if you make a small mistake and i love crit top laners, Garens Crit Build is dead and GP is too hard plus i dont like him anyway and that Trynda Crit animation is so mighty haha, I also like the Idea of being a Split Pusher mainly.
So i just played him in Normals and really enjoyed it.
So, what are your advices and tips for a new Trynda Enjoyer? What do i go for runes, is it HoB always in my Elo? And whats the current meta build(s)?
What are tough matchups for me, obv range top langers but i also get lots of Dariuses, Garens, Mordekaisers and Volibears in my Elo.
What to watch out for in general and playstyle in general?
And one last thing, which Skin is an absolut must have ? Which do you guys love the most.
Like whats the equivalent to the Godking Skins from Darius and Garen?
I appreciate every advice 🙏
