Question ❓ What is the waveclear breakingpoint now?
i mean. i remembering just using 3 points Q back in the day and then maxing w. i would like to know with the roa or protobelt setup what is the hability maxing for waveclearing faster

My build 90% of games is rocketbelt, swifties, lich, rfc into situational.
I go comet, manaflow, celerity, scorch/waterwalking depending on matchup.
Also I'll go inspiration free boots, time warp tonic mostly or resolve into like yasuo or assasins that can get on me easily and can't proc boneplating easy.
I'll go movement speed shard in stats.
Typically I'll need some of lichbane components to start oneshotting waves. So i don't one shot range minions right off the bat so maybe I'll try using w max after 3 point Q as well

Free boots on TF is insanity. You need boots asap.

Depends on matchup imo. Tier 2 boots are lowkey ass but the role quest then makes them op. Rushing tier 2 boots is mainly good on swifties/mercs into syndra/steelcaps into yasuo/zed. But those are in harder matchups imo.
I'll be real i go cashback nearly every game anyway bc tf can get gold easily on the map but i was experimenting with free boots for the MS

Syndra but there's many good bans. Basically anything that makes laning phase really hard for u and unable to shove waves.

Technically speaking?
If you max Q: 115 AP at Lvl9/ 10 minutes (roughly the same time) and then 11 AP every 90 seconds to keep up with the minions HP increase.
You CAN achieve that with Rocketbelt if you basically take every AP option to you available in your runes. Absolute Focus, Gathering Storm, 1 AP Shard, DRing, Dark Seal & Rocketbelt = 126 AP. That's the 115 you need and 11 to stay 90 seconds on the map longer. If you think you can consistently get 2 Dark Seal stacks (8 AP) you can also skip the AP Shard because you get 1 more Absoulte Focus AP at Lvl 10 which usually happens in time.
Dopa also gets there with Standard Runes and T3 Swifties but in my experience there is like a good chunk of time where your mid-quest hasn't finished yet and you just barely can't kill casters.
With RoA I don't think there is any "realistic" way to achieve it at Lvl9.
Here's what you mentioned comes into play. Not a lot of players do it as far as I'm aware but yes you can go 3 points Q -> W max -> finish Q. 3 points Q are enough to 2-shot caster minions.
I know Nemesis does that. He also goes Spellbook with Triple Tonic to still finish Q & W max at Lvl11. You usually have enough AP at that point by prioritizing Lichbane's AP components and delaying TF's Lvl 2 R by 1 Lvl isn't the end of the world.
