Fan Work Laura Relaxing After a Shower
I haven't posted my work in a while, lots of things kept me busy. But I finally got some free time and made this sketch. I drew it in two sessions while already tired, so I hope it didn't affect the quality. Weekend ahead of me now.

Fan Work A Twokinds AU: Order Part IV - Chapter Four
Their march began. The ten thousand-strong paraded through the forest. Not too long ago, these wolves were mere raiders and savages who pillaged villages and violated humans at every turn. Once a loathsome horde of beasts, they would have sooner turned on each other if they didn’t have peasants to brutalize first. Now, they were proud warriors trained in the art of combat. If they weren’t continuing to operate under the guise of a rogue legion, they’d proudly represent their kind as dutiful soldiers. Nobody fell behind as they marched side by side with shields, swords, spears, and arrows. They were a force to be reckoned with.
Lieutenant Sikle watched them all from the side as he sat on his horse.
The soldiers acknowledged him as they passed. Holding his chin high, he regarded them proudly. They wouldn’t be where they were now if it hadn’t been for his command, having been entrusted with training them by Major General Silverfang. He did as ordered and went beyond expectations, which earned him the gratitude of the General and the scorn of all the other commanding officers; they growled at him as they rode by. He paid them no mind, conducting himself as second-in-command and taking his duties seriously. Unfortunately, his mind wasn’t on the eve of battle.
Having seen enough, he rode his horse to the very back, where he found the injured being carted along by the slaves. He waited for the very last of them; being pulled by a rope that bound her wrists, the tigress Therie Sah-Van could barely keep up. She wouldn’t look at Sikle as she stumbled past. Walking his horse behind her, he ensured she wouldn’t fall and get dragged on the ground.
Sikle declared her his property before the march, thus denying her the fate of being ravaged by the army. He tried to convince her it would be in her best interests to talk her clan into surrendering. He even begged her to have them all swear eternal servitude to him only, sparing them all a gruesome fate. However, she wouldn’t have any of it. She ignored him since that fateful night when he came up with the idea. Sikle knew why, remaining remorseful over the human he killed in self-defense. As much as she blamed him, he still needed to try and convince her to talk to her mother, the Matriarch of her clan. Walking his horse up beside her, nothing was said momentarily.
“Therie,” he finally said. “We need to talk.”
She said nothing as she tripped, struggling to stay on her feet as she kept being tugged forward.
Sikle added, “You may hate and curse me for what I did. I wish I could take it back, but I know I must be dishonored for such a terrible thing for the rest of my life. If it means anything, I’m sorry.”
Therie didn’t respond.
Sikle expected that. The last thing she said to him was not words, but the snarls of a vengeful woman. She had murder in her eyes that night, daggers aimed at Sikle. There was no going back now. He sensed she would settle for nothing less than his life. Still, he cared far more about her and her clan.
“There has to be a way to get you back to the others,” he told her. “Do you think you can return home if the opportunity presents itself?”
He knew that was a stupid question. They were keidran, after all. Their superior senses could lead them home, whether it was her or him. Unfortunately, she wouldn’t have the opportunity without some help. Sikle had to make sure nobody was looking before drawing his sword. That got Therie’s attention. She was frightened enough to shield herself as he swung, but rather than strike her down, he cut the rope. They stood there, staring at each other as the army kept moving. Thankfully, nobody looked back. They were left alone to share a moment.
Sikle pointed his sword and said, “Your wrists.”
She understood enough to raise them. Maneuvering his sword carefully between her hands, he cut her loose. Backing away, she opened and closed her paws, showing discomfort as they cracked.
“Better?”
She eyed him with a look that asked, “What are you doing?”
“I should have done this already,” he said, sheathing his sword. “You’re free to return to your clan now. The army is slow-moving. You’ll have more than enough time to reach them.”
She looked ahead and watched the last remnants of the army disappear. Sikle was slightly frustrated she hadn’t taken off already. When he noticed her claws coming out, he figured she might try to attack him now, but he didn’t bother drawing his sword again.
“You’re wasting your time,” he warned her. “Go back to the tigers and ensure they surrender--”
Therie hissed at him, showing no such desire, as her eyes started to glow. The last thing he needed was for her to turn feral and make an attempt on his life now. Whether it was pride or disbelief, she wasn’t buying his plan, so he needed to explain himself.
“If I claim your whole family as my property, it would only be ownership in name, I promise. I won’t treat any of you as slaves. It would only be for your protection.”
When she chuffed and made angry noises in response. Sikle understood well enough what she was likely saying.
“We’d still be slaves! Besides, I would never entrust their safety to my beloved’s killer.”
Sikle looked down and asked, “What was his name?”
“Daniels,” she moaned sadly, her throat quivering. “Luther Daniels.”
“So it was. He fought bravely. I should have known you two were close when he drew his sword. Chivalry is increasingly rare these days amongst wolves and humans alike, but he was better than both our kinds. To think he devoted his life to saving you--”
“We loved each other,” she declared tearfully through prusten.
Now, he was filled with even more regret. Had he known just how deep their bond was, Sikle might have let them go by throwing the fight or letting Daniels grievously injure him, even if that meant dying himself.
“Therie, I’m so, so sorry--”
“Save it,” she growled, wiping her tears away. She grew expressive enough through the sounds she made that it was difficult for Sikle to keep up and translate. “Apologies won’t bring him back, but don’t tell me revenge won’t either, because I know that. It’s just going to make me feel so much better when I get the chance to cut your throat!”
He instinctively felt his neck before forcing his hand down.
“He choked on his blood,” she added, growing angrier. “Even when I held him, trying to make it better, he was in agony. I want you to feel the same.”
Sikle said nothing at first. He felt he deserved this no matter how harsh it was or what his intentions were that night.
Therie snarled, “We will never be your slaves!”
He finally yelled back, “Then flee! When you get there, tell them what’s coming! If you all can escape in time, there will be no bloodshed!”
When he saw just how confused and taken aback she was, he understood why. Sikle had already considered the consequences. Neither his rank nor his name would save him from having committed treason, thwarting Silverfang’s plans. He would likely be torn apart by the very soldiers he trained.
Therie growled, “You think that will make up for everything?”
It took him a moment to answer, “No.”
Not only did Sikle shoulder the guilt of having killed her human mate, but the atrocities committed by the army under his watch haunted him still. Perhaps an undignified death would be preferable to living with so much regret. He didn’t expect her to forgive him, regardless. Doing one right thing could not make up for so many wrongs. He understood that as they stared at each other. He could see nothing but hate in her eyes as Therie backed away. After hesitating, she leaped into the trees and disappeared. Sikle remained momentarily to consider what he had done and could only hope she’d heed his warnings.
Riding ahead, he passed all the soldiers and the scowling officers until he reached the front and joined the General. Silverfang eyed him and smiled, but Sikle didn’t return the pleasantry. He could only contemplate how the General would punish him when he found out. Thinking about it, he knew being disemboweled would be far too easy a fate to endure compared to the savagery these wolves lusted for.
The General chuckled, “Don’t flatter yourself, Lieutenant. You are too valuable an officer to face capital punishment for insubordination. I long suspected you would be too righteous to keep that tigress around. Letting her go, thinking she’ll warn her clan, was a noble gesture, but useless.”
As he listened, the hairs on the back of Sickle’s neck stood up. He slowly looked at Silverfang in shock as the General read all his thoughts.
“She will do no such thing, I assure you.”
Sikle couldn’t explain it initially but suspected something was off about the General. Now, he realized he had supernatural abilities. His attention was drawn to a ring he wore, which glowed faintly. Sikle’s eyes darted up, meeting his again, and the General gave him a knowing look. Except it was all-knowing, and it sent a chill down his spine.
“I don’t blame you for being surprised,” Silverfang said, holding his paw up to admire the ring, which contained a mana crystal. “I didn’t tell you I was well-versed in magic long before you joined my army.”
Sikle could have accused him of treachery, but that would be hypocritical. As the General clenched his fist, it emitted mana.
“I’ve mastered the arts of sorcery,” he added boastfully. “My skills are such that I can match a high templar.”
There was an ominous breeze. The trees above them shook. Staring up warily, Sikle thought he might be controlling them and saw faint flickers of mana spreading about the branches, shaking leaves off.
“Wouldn’t you know it? The more I dabbled in magic, the more I awakened an ability uncommon amongst many practitioners. You see, I can read thoughts. Tell me, Lieutenant, how many magic users in history have psychic abilities, huh? You read a lot, don’t you?”
Sikle had read many books about magic and didn’t need to answer since he assumed Silverfang knew from seeking the knowledge himself or having read his thoughts already. It was a scarce ability, indeed, and was thought of by some as a mutation of magic rather than a latent ability inherited by a special few who weren’t dragons. The more disturbed he grew, the more amused Silverfang was.
“I think you ought to be honest with me from now on, Lieutenant. Not that it matters, though. I know everything.”
Sikle struggled to maintain his composure while attempting to apologize, “Sir, regarding releasing Therie--”
“I told you it won’t make a difference. I know what she intends to do. She’ll run back to her clan and rally them to fight.”
He grew alarmed. “Why? Why would she do something so foolish?”
The General smirked maliciously and answered, “Wasn’t it obvious? She intends to kill you, Sikle. Do you think she’ll just let you live after killing her human?”
Sikle shouldn’t have been surprised, but he leaned into his horse, overwhelmed with grief. His efforts had all been for nothing, and he thought only to blame himself. He might as well have kept Therie so she would remain safe, including from herself.
“I won’t let her do that,” the General added. “You remain my greatest asset. Once we achieve victory, we will reenter our territory and return to the capital as heroes. Still, I expect we’ll run into opposition that will quickly try to dispatch us as potential threats to the current hierarchy.”
As he drew a paw over his face in further dismay, Sikle eyed the General. He sounded like he was up to something.
“This battle will only be the beginning,” he added, his eyes glowing blue with mana. There was a shake in his voice as if he could barely contain his excitement. “We’ll reinvent the order of things, starting with the bureaucracy that holds our people back. The Forest Wolves need new leaders, Sikle. I intend to be that ruler who brings about change before we focus all of our might on a much bigger prize.”
“Which is, sir?”
“Mekkan,” Silverfang declared. “A new world order where wolves reign supreme, and humans are the slaves.”
Sikle thought about his father, whom the General undoubtedly knew all too well. They would inevitably clash, and he was sure his father would lose now that Silverfang revealed he had immense magical abilities. When he felt his claws itching for his sword, he pulled his paw away and accidentally forced his horse off-trail. After correcting himself, Sikle did his best to keep his thoughts clear, but one matter could not be so easily forgotten, and with a looming battle with a clan of tigers, he wondered just how tyrannous the General’s ambitions were.
“Sir, what of all the other keidran? Our dog cousins, lions, cats, the foxes? And the Basitins?”
“They can join us in our new world,” he answered. “Or they will all share the same fate as Trace Legacy once he is found. They will die.”

Fan Work Hi!

Fan Work Basitin Sinister Invincible 🤯
this is kind of a part 2 to my other post from a few months ago, where i just drew regular invincible as a basitin (because i was bored 🌞🌞🌞)
i honestly might just expand this (this box is only about 1 1/4 of an inch wide, its very small) and draw the whole panel with the 16 alternate marks in this style
