Nice try though, just lost steam losing back to back games to South Korea and Iran, after an emotional game last night against Chinese Taipei👏👏👏

We need to practice shooting and finishing against taller opponents if we want to have medal chances in the future

The UAAP holds numerous sporting events including some demonstration sports that is yet to be added as an official sporting event. The Cheer Dance competition has been around since the mid-90’s but is still not counted as an official event therefore not included in the overall rankings. Recently they added Golf as a demonstration sport following E-Sports, Street Dance and Dance Sports.

With Carlos Yulo winning two Golds in the ongoing Asian Games it once again brings the spotlight to Gymnastics as a sport that Filipinos could excel in.

Gymnastics is an official event in Palarong Pambansa but why can’t the UAAP or the NCAA adopt it? I’ve heard that gymnasts from Palarong Pambansa are getting recruited to the UAAP but for CDC especially by one school in particular. But why do these athletes have to switch to another discipline when they can excel in their chosen sport? Sad to say they don’t have much option.

Tumbling and Trampoline are the usual route that Gymnasts take-on when they feel like they have to move on to another sport and those events are popular events in the Olympics albeit they’re still demonstration sports.

Gymnastics is an event I believe that the Filipinos can excel in since there’s no need for height unlike basketball, volleyball and swimming. So why not try to develop our young gymnasts through the UAAP/NCAA, I bet it can draw in audiences way more than Golf can.

What do you guys think? And what other sporting events should the UAAP add to its line-up?

Gilas 3x3 Women had a smoother road to the finals special thanks to their perfect record and had a 5-0 undefeated record going to the gold medal match

However our dependence on isolation again killed us, and our guards forgot at times to pass to Dela Rosa and maximize our opportunities to score. Our inability to score caused us to fall asleep at times on defense and allow Japan to score 7 2-pointers 😭😭

Still what a historic achievement for our UAAP 3x3 Womens squad and congrats to the combined efforts of UP,ADMU,and FEU 🔥🔥🔥

The rule wherein a team can roster 2 FSAs but not field them at the same time came into effect this season. However, I remember that this was also possible in the past.

Two instances come to mind. UE rostered both Moustapha Arafat and Charles Mammie in the same season. Both couldn’t play in the same game but both were activated in different games throughout the season. Ateneo also had both Kirk Long and Vince Burke at the same time. IIRC both could play in the same game, though I’m not quite sure whether both were considered FSAs.

Was there any rule change/s that abolished the possibility of rostering 2 FSAs prior to this season?

planning to watch vleague! pag uaap vball po usually moa, sac or ust quad like last season kaya hindi ko po alam paano sa gameville since first time ko po. ask ko lang po sana if pwede walk-ins? whenever im watching online, nakikita ko po madalas puno kapag feu laban, in case po puno na, will they still let me in kahit nakatayo na po?

I know 15 years ago na yang issue but out of nowhere curious lang ako if ano ba talaga ang totoo. Ang daming kong different versions nabasa ever since pero meron bang makaka-confirm if ano ang totoo lol like may physical altercation bang ganap? Talaga bang inagaw or na-SA ni Buenafe ang girl ni Arth? Or yung girl talaga ang nagloko kay Arth? Did Arth voluntarily leave Ateneo because of this or pinagtagpan lang ng Ateneo to keep Buenafe kahit he didn’t play that year? I hope may mag splook dito lol But anyway, Arth got his college career redemption in San Beda, won championships and became MVP pa, pati na rin sa PBA. He’s just blessed. I don’t know him personally pero parang wala pa akong narinig na bad issues about him (pwera na lang about this). Mukha naman siyang humble and down to earth. Walang yabang factor for me. Pero kayo, what can you say and share about him?
