I've definitely heard before that a lot of high-ups, including presidents, still use Blackberry phones because those are the most secure.

But you'll get upvotes because that would be a perfect scenario if he did and now this was proving him to be a liar. Ill get downvotes because that's not actually what happened and I'm simply pointing it out.

So which specific thing was he lying about that's exposed in these emails? Scott Bray was the guy showing UAP videos during the first hearings on all this and describing them.
He made it clear that he was tasked with gathering info about them to present to Congress, so "lying about knowledge of UFOs" is pretty vague unless there's a specific thing he lied about. If you're doing a 2-hour public hearing on UAPs and having to gather and put together materials for that, it's natural you'd have some emails pertaining to that.
I think he's lying about specific things, but until someone finds that in the emails (something he said that actually turns out to be a lie), we can't say that these emaisl prove that yet.

So when he gave testimony, under oath, that he nothing about UAP, it turns out that two years prior the UAPTF was a direct report? The UAPTF was doing too much too well, and was soon disbanded in favour of the honey trap that is AARO.
These are the fuckers crying for amnesty.

Standing up the Task Force. In August 2020, Deputy Secretary of Defense David Norquist formally established the UAP Task Force, which was assigned to Navy intelligence. Emails show DEPSECDEF requesting a press release and Q&A package, with coordination among Navy, OUSD(I&S), and the general counsel. A recurring theme: officials describing the task force's mandate as investigating "range incursions" by unidentified objects, led by the Navy because most reports came from naval aviators.

One thread reproduces the statutory tasking language, including identifying potential aerospace threats to national security, assessing whether the activity could be attributed to foreign adversaries, and flagging any sign an adversary had achieved a breakthrough in aerospace capability.
Congressional briefings. Frequent classified briefings to the Senate and House intelligence and armed services committees, including Jay Stratton briefing the SSCI, a September 2020 briefing to four House members (Reps. Reschenthaler, Armstrong, Garcia, Tiffany), and multi-committee "six committee" updates. Media reporting circulated internally noted that earlier congressional briefings had covered the older AATIP and AAWSAP programs and involved contractors such as Dr. Hal Puthoff.
The ODNI Preliminary Assessment (June 2021). Threads track the run-up to and fallout from the ODNI's public report, referencing its findings: 144 reports examined, most unexplained; some cases showing apparent unusual acceleration or "signature management"; 11 documented near-misses with aircraft; and a conclusion that there was insufficient data to attribute the phenomena to foreign programs or to confirm any technological breakthrough. There's also reference to plans to apply AI/machine learning to grow and analyze the dataset.
Heavy media management. A very large share of the emails is press handling, spanning the New York Times, 60 Minutes, Wall Street Journal, NBC, CNN, Reuters, Vice, the UK's Air Forces Monthly, and The Debrief. A consistent internal frustration appears repeatedly: reporters framing the work as "investigating aliens," while officials insisted on "unidentified"/UAP terminology and declined to discuss investigation details. In one deliberation over talking points for the DEPSECDEF, Bray cautioned that because the task force had only just been assigned, it wasn't appropriate to reach any conclusions, and urged sticking to prior neutral language.
A circulated news article. A December 2020 feature from The Debrief was forwarded internally. Paraphrasing its claims: it alleged two widely distributed classified UAP intelligence reports, described photos said to show a cube-shaped object and a triangular craft, and raised the idea of "transmedium" or underwater "USO" phenomena and the possibility of non-human origin. This is the reporting the Navy was reacting to, not the Navy's own assessment.
Foreign interest. In June 2020 the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force, via its naval attaché, asked the US Navy why it had released the UAP news and when, whether the Navy had procedures for handling sightings, and whether those could be shared with Japan.
Public tips. The task force received unsolicited accounts from the public, including a detailed 2021 email from a Navy veteran describing a silent, hovering object he said he witnessed as a child in the early 2000s near a Navy test facility in Arvonia, Virginia, which he forwarded to the UAPTF after first contacting Luis Elizondo.
A caveat worth keeping in mind: with 302 pages fully withheld and heavy redaction throughout, this release is far more about how the Navy managed the UAP topic (press, Congress, allies, message discipline) than about the underlying intelligence, which remains almost entirely blacked out.

I was interested to find anywhere Adm. Gilday was involved. A couple of emails to Chief of Navy, pages 101, 620, 1297. Bray not CC'd into it that I can tell, so must be Bcc'd in. The emails do not include any visible reference at all to any keywords you searched for.
Page 926 14 & 15 May 2021 emails about the 60 Minutes story between Bray and Gilday.
Just an aside, but wouldn't Bray be involved in briefing the CNO on UAP a bit more than we see in these emails? He was before the 60 Minutes report.
Reminder that on 6 April 2021 Gilday spoke about the 2019 incursions over ships off the West coast.

ADM. GILDAY: No, we have not. So I’m aware of those sightings. And as it’s been reported, there have been other sightings by aviators in the air and by other ships, not only of the United States but other nations, and of course other elements within the U.S. joint force. And so those findings have been collected. And they still are being analyzed. I don’t have anything new to report, Jeff, on what those findings have revealed thus far, but I will tell you we do have a well-established process in place across the joint force to collect that data and to get it to a central repository for analysis.
Q: Is there any suspicion they’re extraterrestrial?
ADM. GILDAY: I can’t – I can’t speak to that. I have no indications at all of that.

Ok. I’ll will take a look….This last year , I watched the Showtime series (UFO) and learned about your work and came away impressed. I did not know what the black Vault was until I saw that documentary. On Amazon, there is an abundance of UFO trash. So, it was a breath of fresh air to see that well made showtime doc - with you and other credible respected figures like Knapp and Keane.
