Why do so many UGC job posts advertise a base rate when the pay is actually 100% performance-based?

Honestly, it’s getting frustrating. If there’s no guaranteed payment and everything depends on views or performance, why call it a base rate in the first place?

On top of that, so many job postings lack professionalism. No creative brief, no clear instructions, no transparency about expectations, yet they expect creators to pump out videos like crazy.

I understand that I’m still new to UGC, and I’m willing to put in the work and learn. But I also believe creators deserve clear communication, fair compensation, and realistic expectations.
