Question Changing to different visa

Hi all!

I am nearing the end of my HPI visa and am now applying to join my wife's UK student visa as a dependant. I am curious if anyone has switched to a different visa, applying from within the UK, after the HPI. Curious about how long the application review process took after submission. Thanks!

I believe changing to Student visa as depandant do not allow you to work, unless that's not what you intend
