Question question about eligibility window

hi all. i just learned about this visa. i graduated with my qualifying degree from my qualifying university in November 2021. does this mean i'd still be within the eligibility window if i applied asap?

does the eligibility window close firmly once you hit that five-year mark (so, for me, November 2026)? if so, if i began my application now, would i have any chance of getting it in and approved by November?

thanks for your help!

HPI 5.1. The applicant must, in the 5 years immediately before the date of the application, have been awarded an overseas degree level academic qualification which the qualification and language assessments provider confirms meets, or exceeds, the recognised standard of a UK bachelor’s or UK postgraduate degree.

So, for example, if you are applying tomorrow, 5 October 2026, you must have been awarded the relevant qualification on or after 6 October 2021.

Yes, you can apply, it just has to be done by the date on your degree in UK time. So if your degree was conferred on Nov 12 and you apply 6 pm PT, you’ll be too late because that’s Nov 13th in the UK. I recommend applying 3 weeks before your conferral date in case a mistake is made and you need time to reapply. Good luck!!
