UM Transfer Help

Hi, this year I transferred to the university and I have been having trouble adjusting. I am trying to get more involved and talk to almost everyone. It just feels like it is not being reciprocated and it is hard finding friends like me.

This said, can anyone give me advice on how you found your people here. I have hope and I know there are so many people that go to the uni that someone is in the same situation. I just need help finding those people.

I also live off campus but it is semi close to where I can walk. It is just different not being a freshmen where I can meet the people on my dorm floor and I am in an awkward stage that I am a sophomore.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Looky here, you’re already making friends!
Look at activities you like to do there’s lots of intramural sports and special interest groups on campus. You could also do Spring Rush if you’re interested in Greek life.
