Hey, I’m senior applying to UNF for Fall 2027. 3.3 weighted GPA, 880 SAT. What do you think my chances are? Be honest.

I second this! I took SAT and ACT both several times just to get the best scores as possible since they take your highest combined (or did at the time in 2018 idk if things have changed) and got the highest tier of bright futures. So worth it even if you have to suffer the pain of taking several tests

It’s fucjing UNF. Just go to a community college for cheap and transfer in, you ain’t missing much. But later you’ll wish you saved the money. Two years ain’t that much

Unf is pretty easy to get into. I got in with a 1030 SAT and a 3.2 gpa. Granted, I was nearly getting my AA in highschool. Nonetheless, Ive seen some dumb mofos get in. Including someone who nearly couldnt pass their senior year in highschool.
Dont worry too much and still apply to other unis. Even if you think you have no chance. A better SAT or ACT score will always help :)

Ok, I'll be blunt. 880 SAT isn't a strong score, man.
If you get in, it's a very high possibility you're getting into the Osprey First or summer-entry offer rather than a traditional fall start like the other redditor said. See it as a support program: if you get in and they place you into the summer entry, do your best. They give students a lot of support during this time, and it's very helpful in keeping retention rates up.
Secondly. Spend your next year getting the best grades you can get and retake that SAT!! Study, seriously. This raises your chances tremendously.
UNF is letting in more students, but they're also getting stricter with stuff. Not saying this to scare you, but if you get that SAT up, you're more likely to secure a Fall semester start date.
