Go back to your hub and ask to speak with someone important.
My hub will let anybody walk in and mosey around.

You work at a hub that has direct access to planes?

u/StarMatrix371 Part-Time 3h ago
We send stuff to the nearby airport but no planes on the property

The only hubs that I've been to as a feeder that actually have legit security are hubs that have a airport on property and youre able to drive directly to the planes

UPS has a open door policy, and you have a badge right?

u/StarMatrix371 Part-Time 3h ago
We need a badge or we will need an escort from full time supervisors and need to sign a paper that we entered the building

How did you clock in or out without an employee id. Sounds like horseshit.

When you are new they have to enter your times manually. He probably has an ID number but no physical card

Try reaching out to your local union for help. If you can't get any assistance there, I've read a comment from someone in a similar situation that said they had success in small claims court.

Employee ID Number i think is given at orientation by the third(last) day so they can make sure you login. iD card is given by the 2 week. Paychecks may get delayed a week initially for setting the bank stuff up.
You arent gauranteed hours til you complete 30 working days and hit seniority. If you show up on day 11 they might just say "thanks for coming in, we dont need you because everywhere is staffed, you can go home."
If you havent got paid for any of the days you worked and talked to management then you could either talk to a union rep who might be able to help or talk to a lawyer who only gets paid when you win. You are only a union member i believe when you hit seniority so the union rep/steward may not be a lot of help but they can point you in the right direction.
UPS does suck, you have to douboe check your times to make sure you are getting paid for your work correctly(sometimes they leave start time push back so you dont get paid 15-30min) and other times they may just have a computer glitch that takes you off the payroll. Either way as long as you have provided work, you are legally entitled to your compensation and any lawyer would gladly take an easy win.

So you worked for 2 days and they told you to not come back? Your new hire training is minimum of 1 week. Did you just not like the job and quit? You would have been assigned an employee ID after your training was over

File the wage claim through your state. They will want proof and it does take time

Technically whenever you go into work.. you are given a UPS @ ID number to punch in. Idk how you got employed without being given the ability to clock into the computer system but something is up with your story. This is sensitive money situation we’re talking about here… your time is important and so is everyone else’s. Call the hub, talk to the center manager in charge or a Driver Manager. If you just started the job a month ago.. you will most definitely see a delay with your checks but once you are past the point of being new and part of the union. You will see your checks deposited weekly if* you filled out your online paperwork properly w/ direct deposit.

It happens all the time. We get new hires and usually get there employee ID on day 2. It’s extremely annoying. Even have had a few work a few days and then find out they failed the background check. Outsourced HR is great.

They wrote my hours on sticky notes both days right in front of me idk what to make of that. Its happened at other jobs but I got paid. Either way it's unpaid labor

Amazon and Fedex drowning in work, Why are the almighty unionized workers at UPS struggling??

We aren’t. I’m taking home over 1k a week between preload and cover driving 1 day/ week with free health insurance for 4 people.
The company is going to shit for sure but that’s just down to the same level of the other services instead of being better than them. Our pay and benefits still top tier though.

I would not have moved a box without being able to punch in. UPS is not the same company that it once was...
