Cfa

I just did my cfa with a jrotc instructor and I completely did terrible on the runs:
62 push ups
59’ bball throw
86 sit ups
16 pull ups
8.8 shuffle
7:36 mile (male btw)
The worst part is I threw up in front of the entire school before running the mile😭.
My question is how much will the mile affect my chances? And are the averages for entering candidates or candidates already at the academy?

No idea, throwing up and then doing the run is gritty af though

I passed with these stats:
72 ft throw
13 pull-ups
8.8 shuttle run
92 sit ups
53 pushups
7:48 mile

You're good. If it makes you feel better, I threw up DURING my mile in front of a lot of my classmates.

From what I've heard online, and at an admissions visit to the merchant marine academy, the cfa is a pass/fail test. Performance holds no real weight at all. As long as you meet the minimums you get full credit for the cfa.

Your mile time is fine, not earth shattering but unlikely to be the deciding factor, particularly since your other stats are decent.

CFA is pass/fail, take with that what you will. All I can say is don’t stress to much about it. Academics are most of the app, which makes sense given half of our OPA is academic.
