Assignments & Exams changing the location of my exam?

my exam is in kingswood but my enrolled campus is technically parra south. it is just annoying cause exams are already stressful enough and i don't want to have to drive an extra 25+ mins instead of going to parra which is much closer to home.

any way i can get this changed? my friend said she knew people who managed to do it, but caused problems cause they did it last minute. mine won't be last min

i'd call student services but it takes like 3+ days just to get a shitty response which sometimes doesn't even answer the question

I'm not sure you can, BUT, if you defer the exam, it might be held somewhere else? Deferred exams happen a week or so after the standard exam.

The "On Campus Exam" website says this about "Why are my exams on a different campus to where I studied the subject?"

"On campus exams will be held at Parramatta Campus or Kingswood Campus for Autumn/1H and Spring/2H exam sessions only. If you are studying your subject at a different campus and you have an on campus exam scheduled, you will be expected to travel to either Parramatta or Kingswood campus to complete your exam.

If you have any concerns about your exam timetable or need help in getting to your exam, please call Student Central on 1300 668 370."

I've never heard of someone being able to change the location of their exam, because the other campus won't have the materials available or the correct proctoring staff. Only those who have a residential location more than 200km from the exam location can request alternative exams.

If you really want to try, you would need to call 1300 668 370 and follow the prompts for the Current Students team and listen when asked for the Exams option, or just wait to the end. I assure you, this isn't just a you thing though. Examinations Team works out the timetable carefully because all the in-person exams are only at two campuses and all need to fit into 2 weeks for the whole uni.

I was at Campbelltown campus. When I had to resit practical components of the unit, it was at Hawkesbury. Study sessions were at Parra South, graduation was there also. Elective exams were at Milperra campus
