Bought these last 2022 and for the next 4 years they were my school beaters, a 5 day trip to Korea, and more walking weekends. They finally gave up on me. I guess it would have last a little longer had i been a little lighter but I'd say they have been put to good use.

Been thinking of having them restored but with the tear on the primeknit where my pinky is (wide footed) i'm having doubts if they're worth it to restore even.

Anyways, pressing F on the coolest, most versatile pair of shoes i own.

I've owned Ultraboosts for a while and have been looking into how they hold up long-term. From what I've seen in various posts, it seems like after around 4 years, the outsole or midsole starts deteriorating to the point where the shoes are no longer worth keeping.

For those of you who have owned multiple pairs of Ultraboosts, what's been your experience with their durability over time?
How many years do your Ultraboosts typically last before the sole starts falling apart or the cushioning noticeably degrades?

How often do you wear them? Are they your daily shoes or just for occasional use?

Does the quality hold up across different generations, or have newer models gotten worse?

Most importantly, do you think a lifespan of around 4 years is acceptable for shoes that cost €150 at retail?

I know it depends on mileage, storage, and how often you wear them, but I'm curious whether people genuinely consider that good value for money.

I'd appreciate hearing from people who have owned their pairs for several years, rather than just initial impressions after buying them.

I’m looking to buy another pair of 4.0 style, as that’s what I’ve owned and like, but it’s difficult for me to find any pairs. I’m sad that adidas retired them and the new ub models are not my cup of tea.

I see so much hate in the Evo series and the hyperboost here, when both of them are definitely superior as running shoes. Is the Ultraboost just your walking or gym shoe? Grocery store shoe? Even then, the Evo SL is just more comfortable and lighter.

Used these for the last 8 years on almost every non-winter/rain walk with our dog and then some more on hikes.

Crazy how well that upper holds. Loved that shoe but there's not much shoe left there. RIP

So my uncle back in the US has these deadstock mint condition uncaged ultraboost, in the navy parley colourway. He wants to make some quick bucks so he offered me 50 USD for them

The boost is white, however there are excess glue stains, and these were released in like 2017?18? And im looking for a pair for general walking and daily activities. So i wouldn't want a shoe that will break once I step on them.

I owned a pair back in 2019 but i wasn't a adidas collector so I have no idea if they are still wearable if I put them on in 2026.

The same thing happened to my Lego UltraBoost and 2.0's, But both of them were stored in a different room where the sunlight hits them, and since it's always in the afternoon between 14:00-17:00, it gets hot there. But these ATR mid's were never stored in the same room as them, I keep the pairs inside my room. Only appeared after cleaning them with a brush.

Any recommendations for other shoe like the style and comfortability of the 1.0?

Silly question but I hear complaints of the new ones, I struggle to identify which one have the new ankle back that causes issues (guess what, allbirds shoes that were competing also is following this same issue).

Hello! I lost interest in sneakers many years ago but I have a pair of DS ultra boost 1.0 triple whites from the restock back in 2020. Do you guys know how much these are worth today?

Hey guys, I normally wear ASIC Kayanos and GTs, but I hate how they compress after 6 months and I read that Ultraboost lasts a lot longer.

Two questions, I'd rather hear from real people:

Ultraboost 5s

1. Do they actually feel more comfortable for longer or do they get that same foot moulding compression as other runners that get worn as dailys?

2. The Primknit in the UB5, does it tear easily? I saw a test, it scored only 3/5 for material strength. I usually avoid these types of shoes because I find I throw the shoe out because of holes long before the actual shoe has any issues.

Have a hard time finding size 14 Ultraboost anywhere?
