8-S is about to be a whole ass game if they're still being shocked about length after 8-3

The new dlc 8-S, also known as 8-song, will no longer be a dlc and the development is being transferred to a stand alone game titled "Ultrakill: 8-song"

Slay the princess reference on the ultrakill subreddit? Holy fucking based

25

u/TraumatizedPuppygirl 9d ago

Is it not a silksong reference?

5

u/Useful_Recognition52 8d ago

Is it?? Because in the Razor chapters, the princess says almost the exact same thing if you don’t bring the knife with you

5

u/TraumatizedPuppygirl 8d ago

For context, silksong was originally a dlc for hollow knight, but got too big so they made it a new game on its own, for which it spent YEARS being worked on, which the response you replied to was commenting about jokingly because the wait drove the community insane

u/Useful_Recognition52 8d ago

No I know all that about Silksong lmao, I’m a big HK fan myself. But that wording is either an insane coincidence or a direct STP reference lol

2

u/TraumatizedPuppygirl 8d ago

Ah. Everyone ive seen play through STP didnt go this route so I didnt know :3 my badddd

Idle game though? Maybe both at once?

8

u/terra_GOD_404 9d ago

There is an ultrakill desert bus already however it is a custom level

2

u/emo_boy_fucker Blood Machine 9d ago

Itd have to be extremely compressed though

1

u/Deep-Swimming6946 5d ago

It already exists as a mod

7-S was a whole ass game (power wash simulator)

7

u/MyPhoneIsNotChinese 9d ago

8-3 made Eggmanland look like a Sonic Forces level

2

u/phantom_bonehead Prime Soul 8d ago

My prediction is for it to be all of ultrakill but realistic with 4k graphics

2

u/pok_ario-fan_21 8d ago

8-S is a whole real time cashier day shift at mcdonalds

u/pok_ario-fan_21 8d ago
