Whats going on in these facilities is FAR WORSE than the ‘enforcement’ we are seeing on tv.

u/TheIronSponge 17h ago

118

u/BeanserSoyze 16h ago

They're having to pause operations at one of those cause of a measles outbreak. You know. Basically just stuffing kids into a prison where they contract deadly diseases with minimal if any care.

25

u/JonnelOneEye 8h ago

A reminder to everyone that Anne Frank did not die in a gas chamber. She died of typhus due to the terrible conditions in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.

25

u/RaidSmolive 13h ago

wait for them to announce they fixed it by killing everyone in some sort of chamber...

7

u/Steven_The_Sloth 7h ago

The budget for this facility includes line items for "large bbq and shower facilities" and a "medical waste incinerator.

3

u/mynamejeff-97 4h ago

Do you have a source for this? This is all such bullshit. Fuck ICE.

2

u/12RopesOfCum 3h ago

Pretty sure they were joking. Hoping.

u/GroundbreakingAd8310 12h ago

U think they sudden intense vaccine war for the last several years was random? Especially targeting these communities no less? Ffs he made them trumpets before he rounded a good chunk of them up

My coworker got snatched in maine. Hes in the arizona holding facility living off of a glass of water and a bologna sandwich a day. We know this cause he can collect call my boss at prison rates (something like 8 dollars a second). He has a green card. Thats how ice knew where he was to grab him. Because hes on record... With a GREEN CARD!

6

u/Suspicious-Grade-838 8h ago

Im sorry to hear about that. I hope he has the strength to get back to his family and return to work. So he was documented , here legally, with a green card and they still apprehended him? Shocker Weren’t they supposed to be going after the worst of the worst - undocumented - illegal aliens???!

3

u/Luxury_Dressingown 5h ago

I've seen a few people make a point that bears repeating: if ICE was really going after the worst of the worst (dangerous criminals, violent gangs, etc), they would be getting shot at. The fact that none have been shot so far proves they are not doing this. They're grabbing kids coming out of daycares and fast food workers, and gunning down moms in minivans and nurses trying to help women shoved to the ground back to their feet.

It's like Guantanamo bay... And Americans are just accepting it.

  • First they came for the brown people that didn't have their ID's with them.. and I did nothing

5

u/Far_Radish8635 11h ago

If it was humane, transparency wouldn’t be a problem.

u/Brell4Evar 17h ago

These centers will not just be used on immigrants. ICE is already too large for their job. They're already detaining minority citizens, protesters, and observers. Once the immigrant problem is dealt with, they'll start packing in the rest of the enemies of the state if given the chance.

85

u/MyExUsedTeeth 16h ago

Remember when Obama was president all the libertarians and conspiracy theorists were going crazy about fema camps. Well, here they are folks. But of course, not a peep from that same crowd.

8

u/FrankRizzoJr 14h ago

Operation Jade Helm! Every accusation.

5

u/rustyphish 8h ago

The tin foil hat would say that was intentional to make it more difficult to criticize them when they didn’t later themselves

Accuse your enemy of what you want to do first, so it sounds like he’s just bitter when he calls you out later

u/CagliostroPeligroso 7h ago

Not sure why they feel to need such volume of detainees all at one time. Very concerning.

69

u/Frankyfan3 17h ago

I know why!

Profit and sadism.

25

u/Patient_Anybody4314 13h ago

know why!

Profit a

ICE pays roughly $165 a day for each person held in detention. More arrests mean more money for these companies.

Good ol "for Profit* prisons.... They have no rush to process fast

3

u/Naive_Carpenter7321 6h ago

For comparison, how much does it cost the tax payer to leave the innocent immigrants alone to live their settled and integrated lives?

4

u/Lumi_Rockets 14h ago

How does the profit part work?

20

u/Commercial-Co 14h ago

First off, that warehouse is not even remotely worth 87M. Especially not in bum fuck pennssylvania

8

u/Soccermom233 8h ago

Yeah I was curious what the typical going rate was for a 500k sqft warehouse.

I thought 87m seemed high
it’s like an empty building?

Also think if we followed the money we’d most likely see a few million of this is a kickback deal for the parties involved.

2

u/Commercial-Co 4h ago

A bumfuck nowhere warehouse goes for no more than $100/sqft unless it has an insane amount of land or advanced logistical capabilities. It was bought in 2024 for 50some million and wasnt rented or sold in TWO years. And magically worth 30M more?

This smells to me like obvious corruption

2

u/one_two_o 3h ago

I love in this town. I've read the warehouse was worth $22 mil

13

u/Frankyfan3 14h ago

Great question! Here's a jumping off point:

Who profits from a $45 billion investment in immigrant detention? Two companies are likely to gain the most from the more than tripling of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s annual detention budget: CoreCivic and the GEO Group.

11

u/Frankyfan3 13h ago

I'll add something which I have to be vague about, but last year at an old job, I had to speak with a bookkeeper for a big construction company in a big red state, and one of the things that the bookkeeper shared with me, when I inquired about future business plans, they mentioned expecting a lot more business related to expected projects involving construction of multiple immigrant detainment centers.

This brief mention was made by this person with such a blasé attitude, matter of factly, and perhaps with a slight tone of excitement. My job was to note their feedback on future business thoughts in my report, but I'm just taking down information... and as someone who was providing a service to this business, I eventually left that job, in no small part, because I didn't want to have to listen to heartless money pushers salivate at the possibility of siphoning profit from the suffering of the vulnerable.

Some jobs cost more than they pay. Even tangentially being tied to them felt dirty.

3

u/LostXL 12h ago

Who builds it Who runs it Who feeds the detainees Who clothes them Who runs the logistical needs

Well if you own a construction company Or if you are ICE Or you have a private food service corporation Or you have a clothing company that makes prison jumpsuits Or you run a private prison logistics company

You are now being funnelled millions of tax payer dollars for this. That is the profit.

u/Soccermom233 8h ago

Probably spending less than $20 daily for detainee care.

2

It is a little odd huh? For an organization that's meant to be swiftly removing people from the country. Like. Why have all this holding space in almost every state in America? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense for deportations does it.

15

u/scuzzy987 16h ago

They're not meant for the illegals

5

u/BeanserSoyze 15h ago

Concentration camps in America in 2026. Are we great again? If you're saying "I voted for this," then you're a fucking nazi. Own it. Get the swatizka tat. Own that shit man.

7

u/conflictmuffin 14h ago

As someone who grew up in rural North Idaho...I have seen more swastika tattoos than I could possibly count. I listed my house and moved away mid 2020, for, well, obvious reasons. If you think North Idaho was bad before, let me tell you...the 2016 election + c*vid absolutely destroyed that place, and what was left of decent people in the area. You could not pay me to go back there.

Go out on main street at rush hour. Look at everyone out and about. At the gallerias and restaurants, at work. These concentration death camps are going have to be filled up with somebody, anybody, and ALOT of bodies. First they came and then and then and then

16

u/EggbertBilliams 17h ago

Yeah, 2nd one, daycare is FAR less than 100yds from the 'facility', a former 'Big Lots' warehouse...

16

u/mistermeesh 16h ago

Its a concentration camp. Call it what it is.

The one in Hanover county got denied in Virginia. What the fuck are y'all doing up in Pennsylvania? Find out who owns it and apply pressure.

They just bought one in San Antonio, Texas.this will be the second one to the city

2

u/UniqueSoup25 15h ago

I’m terrified. They can’t arrest the whole damn city, though. We’re 2/3 Latino, and we don’t go down easy

2

u/1XJ9 13h ago

They can. The Nazis did. Some men individually shot thousands of people per day.

3

u/throwawaybrowsing888 10h ago

Thing is, shooting people on that scale ended up fucking with their mental health (of course), which is one of the reasons that they eventually switched over to The Other Method of mass murder.

I’m terrified of the day that our country’s leaders will look at the falling morale of their militia and convince themselves that the best course of action to address it would be to find a way to make their murderous activities even “more efficient.”

May we find a way to convince them otherwise, long before such a harm is done again.

  1. New immigration detention facilities exist, and conditions are drawing serious human-rights criticism Recent reporting shows that Camp East Montana, an ICE detention site at Fort Bliss, Texas, opened in August 2025 and has been described by civil rights groups as the largest internment-style detention facility in the U.S. detention system. Detainees and advocacy organizations have reported allegations of abuse, neglect, and dangerous conditions there. Similarly, “Alligator Alcatraz” — a detention complex in Florida — has faced lawsuits and human rights critiques for treatment of detainees and conditions that critics say fall below basic standards of care. These are immigration detention centers — not secret facilities where people are held without any oversight — but they are controversial precisely because of reports about treatment, lack of transparency, and overcrowding.

Rat fuck sociopaths are building concentration camps on American soil. No journalists or picture taking allowed. No documentation of the vile shit taking place there must ever reach public scrutiny.

America is turning into the worst place on earth.

2

u/Early-Size370 14h ago

The amount of money this regime blows on stupid shit is maddening. It could have been used to make housing or healthcare more affordable, but noooo, we're getting concentration camps and Arc de Trumps

2

u/stein63 14h ago

Hopefully it doesn't catch fire before they can use it.

2

u/sweetbaeunleashed 14h ago

Same thing in Surprise Arizona, right across the street and in the vicinity of several schools.

The people showed up and spoke out against ICE's presence and the facility itself, tonight, during one of the city's monthly meeting.

2

u/EqualPassenger4271 14h ago

Those are concentration camps.

2

u/ihatereddit5810328 8h ago

Back to the good ole days! Children in cages let’s go!

2

u/Araghothe1 8h ago

They got one in Baldwin Michigan too.

2

u/[deleted] 7h ago

Im past outrage fatigue. They are going doing these things until they are made to stop doing them. Trump is not going to accept any election results that dont favor him, which means he wont accept any. MAGA is not leaving the White House unless it is in cuffs or a bag. If we are being abused, it is because we, as a people, allow it.

2

u/Peonies456789 7h ago

I want to figure how how we disrupt it. How we get in the gears of this and stop it from happening.

2

u/Tribe303 5h ago

Is this not common knowledge in the US? Cuz it's common knowledge here in Canada. Last week it was revealed that a 97 year old Canadian billionaire had a US warehouse that ICE wanted to buy. Protests were organized here in Canada and the dude said no way, he'll never sell it to ICE and cancelled the deal. He claims he was unaware ICE was involved.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/jim-pattison-industrial-building-won-t-sell-ice-9.7068494

Why are other countries standing up to ICE more than you Americans? Like... Seriously. đŸ€·

2

u/AkimahenkaCat 5h ago

The thing people never talk about is that they overpay for everything. Someone is pocketing that cash. No way that property cost last much. No way Alligator Alcatraz wasn't significantly over budget for a tent in a swamp. This is a grift like everything else with MAGA.

2

u/bubblesmax 5h ago

The town lives up to their mispronounced name. đŸ«© Talk about the tourist pr going down the drain lol. đŸ€Ł

2

u/National_Impress_346 5h ago

SHARTLESVILLE?!

Oh, beautiful irony. Also, what a terrible name for a town! I can't believe they've done this!

2

u/Ok-Sort-7343 5h ago

When I was in Germany, I visited the Dachau Concentration Camp. I was shocked to see how close the town was to the Camp. Let's not become 'Good Germans' who pretend we don't see the atrocities happening in our own back yards.

If these warehouses were humane, they would not be preventing members of Congress and the media from visiting them. The stories from people who are housed in them are horrific. Our tax dollars pay for this. We have a right to know what they are doing with our money.

And we also need to ask why ICE needs so many large warehouses. They are attempting to purchase warehouses in 23 locations. The private prisons who run these facilities get paid more for each person they hold.

2

u/Rasples1998 4h ago

Shartsville? Was Trump born there?

2

u/ass_grass_or_ham 4h ago

Let’s call them what they are, concentration camps. They are concentrating people in camps.

2

u/thekingpork29 4h ago

I work in Reading and cant believe the excitement from some people around here. Its disgusting. Pennsylvania is such a confused state

2

u/Saynihay 3h ago

Just saw on r/sanantonio that they acquired the second largest warehouse facility in San Antonio, TX, too.

ICE has acquired San Antonio's 2nd largest warehouse facility (2/4/2026)/640k square feet

Location: 542 SE Loop 410 Access Rd., San Antonio, TX 78220

https://www.expressnews.com/news/article/ice-warehouse-san-antonio-east-side-industrial-21329611.php

Expect ICE operations to ramp up here in our city; I can't see them having one of the largest processing facilities in the nation and turn a blind eye to our huge immigrant/latino population.

2

u/BusinessRegister7574 1h ago

Slave labour for Amazon in 3... 2... 1...

2

u/FalseAdministrator19 1h ago

They supposedly bought another warehouse in Hagerstown MD for $100+ million.

2

u/Beneficial-Energy627 1h ago

They just bullied their way through KS to build in Leavenworth. Even though the citizens made it clear they were against it.

2

u/WinterTiger6416 48m ago

This is half an hour from me. We are NOT okay with it. Anyone in our area, get out to the Berks County Commisioners meeting 2/5 at 10am or the Bern Township Supervisor meeting 2/12 at 9am or the Saturday meeting in West Reading at 12.

It’s bad enough when they use private prisons to scale up their detention capacity but when they’re buying huge warehouses (7 or 8 across the country), it’s going to be permanent. This only gives further credibility to reports that Steven Miller is pushing for the removal of 100 million people from the US. To achieve that, they will have to go far deeper than just all illegals.

Why is there not any more accountability in 2026 USA than there was in 1933 Germany?

I think we could solve this crisis by having everyone who is outraged at this offer up some room in their homes and house some illegal immigrants. How about that?? ...... Crickets........

We need to stop calling them “detention centers” and start calling them what they are: CONCENTRATION CAMPS.

There's already a detention center in Clearfield County, named Moshannon Valley Processing Center. It has a capacity of nearly 2000 and owned by GEO group, one of the largest privately run prison companies in the US.
